FAQŌĆÖs
We are an independent family run site that has been open since 1906! If you want to get away from it all and immerse yourself in the mountains weŌĆÖre the right site for you.
Camping:
... ┬Ż6 per person per night. Groups of 4 or less need not book. 11 and under ┬Ż3 per person per night. 5 and under Free of charge.
Bunkhouse: ┬Ż14 per person per night. Space for up to 18 split over 2 bunkhouses. Pre bookable only.
Glamping:
Our glamping options are always changing.
Our glamping tent season usually runs from May - September.
Our Shepherds Hut and Cosy Cocoons are available all year.
All our glamping options can be booked via AirBnB or via ourselves.
No dogs. We are a working farm so do not allow dogs sorry.
Fires:
fires are permitted if they are raised and contained in a suitable fire bowl or brazier. You must bring these with you as unfortunately we donŌĆÖt supply these.
No hook ups for tents.
Quiet time is 10pm we expect everyone to have enough respect for their following campers to keep any noise minimal post 10pm.

We also have a small shop on site selling a few essentials and some snacks and pop. Stock changes all the time! If youŌĆÖd like to help spread the word about us represent us with your very own Gwern Gof Isaf T shirt or Dinky Map!
Please also be aware we are on a stream fed water supply. During periods of inclement weather our feed can be disrupted but this is not often and we try to cause minimal disruption during this time.

You won't find better views than at this site. To wake up and look out over the mountains was just breathtaking. Fantastic facilites, friendly chickens lol, helpful owners and friendly fellow campers. I'm sure we will be back

What an absolute stunning campsite. Special views in the Ogwen Valley. Great facilities and friendly welcome. Loved my short stay here so will definitely be back again. Excellent cost and the wash rooms and toilets are very clean.

What a place! My first time to Snowdonia to climb Tryfan & The Glyders and we camped here. Had a stunning spot, plenty of space, good basic facilities and friendly welcome. We will be back again, and again.....and again!

We came and stayed 3 nights here at the start of August, we camped on the lowest field for 2 nights and then up near the house on the level gravel for one night. Did see a definite difference on the Sun/Mon nights to the weekend campers on the Saturday with its loud groups, bikers coming in after midnight and it was *loud*. However then calm descended and we enjoyed the remote wild feel of the site, kids loved the stream and played for hours, really good facilities, toilet queues minimal and Tryfan in all its glory standing proud over the site. Owners are friendly and helpful. Our favourite site of the six we stayed at during our three weeks in Wales.

Stayed here the other day, great location, great views, really cheap but mainly, really, really good facilities! The toilets are modern and clean, and the showers are decent. 5 stars all round!

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend, we were a group of 19 people. We had no problem finding a spot all together by the river, the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The facilities were very good and the showers were surprising very hot and powerful. We will certainly be back. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!!

Stayed for the first time last weekend. What a cracking site in a beautiful location.I will be back.

Lovely campsite with some spectacular views. Facilities good, hot showers and toilets clean. Family who owned it were very friendly and my little boy loved watching the hens roaming around. We will definitely return.

Just spent a fantastic two days here. Had my own little pitch overlooking the site with great views. It has everything you need, great facilities, very relaxed atmosphere, friendly owners and in a perfect location. I'll be back, thank you.

With it being in quite a remote location we were expecting toilets and showers and not much else, but the facilities far surpassed our expectations. Toilets always clean and well stocked with tissue and soap, showers clean and plenty of hot water. Was amazed to find electronic device charging lockers, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster, washer and dryer and onsite catering van, and for ┬Ż6pppn this site is exceptionally fantastic value for money. Will definitely make a return visit. Thank you Gwern Gof Isaf, and keep up with the hard work.

Just had a great couple of nights in the Shepherds hut, really relaxing, everyone slept well, really comfy. The little extras are a nice touch. So easy to make a post walk cup of tea too.

Finally we succumbed to the on site breakfast catering which rounded everything off really well. Stayed here for years now and keep coming back. Thanks.

I stayed here for one night last week. Its the perfect location to explore the area. Very relaxing and the facilities are just what you need. Not fussy and therefore a great price. I highly recommend it.

Excellent site with a nice mix of good facilities and informality. I like the just turn up and pitch approach. I've been going there on and off for 40 years and although a few changes have been made it hasn't been spoiled by unnecessary "improvement" to commercialise it. The family are always friendly and helpful, can't ask for more in a campsite.

Beautiful place. The owners are lovely and really friendly and we pitched right next to a river with chickens and ducks roaming round.
