Please be aware there will be trail closures next week due to the Wales Rally GB:
Penmachno - 2nd & 5th October. Gwydir Trails - 2nd & 7th October. Climachx trail - 3rd & 6th October.

And remember the trails will be closed for the day due to the event.

Gwydir Mawr & Bach trails will both be CLOSED on Tuesday 2nd October & Sunday 7th October due to Wales Rally GB.
Felling work is taking place on ‘Reid ar Ras’ section so Gwydir Bach trail is closed & there is a diversion on Gwydir Mawr during the week.

Gwydir Trail Update There’s tree felling work taking place during the week on ‘Reid ar Ras’ section on the Gwydir Mawr & Bach trails. Gwydir Bach trail is closed during weekdays because of this, and will be reopened for weekends. Gwydir Mawr trail is diverted around ‘Reid ar Ras’ section. This diversion won’t be in place on weekends either.

Still tickets available for the Temtiwr ladies mountain biking weekend (8th & 9th September) - £30 per ticket - includes drop in workshops, skills challenge and film + talk on Saturday, and 2hr training workshop and Temtiwr Big Ride and Picnic on Sunday. You can also add yoga & coaching to your ticket.

Dyfi events, Welsh Cycling and Natural Resources Wales are pleased to announce the return of the Temtiwr Women's MTB weekend to Coed y Brenin, taking place on Saturday/Sunday the 8th/9th September.
Just 80 tickets are available which will be released in 2 blocks of 40 tickets starting this Sunday, 14th July at 6pm.

Contractors will be out strimming the trails in Gwydir & Coed y Brenin Forest this week. Please keep an eye out, and obey all signage and instructions. #trailupdate

A quick reminder - felling work is still taking place around the ‘Pen y Parc’ section on the Gwydir Mawr & Bach trails (top of the hill on the first climb).
The trails remain open with no diversions, so please take care when approaching ‘banksmen’ and vehicles, stop if you’re asked to and obey all signage.

A quick reminder - felling work has started around the area of Moch yn Hedfan, Pen y Parc & Bacwn sections on the Gwydir Mawr & Bach trails. This work is expected to continue through May and June, but we’ll keep you posted with updates. Be aware there’s also some ‘tree safety’ felling work taking place this week along both Gwydir trails.
The trails will remain open. Please take care when approaching ‘banksmen’ and vehicles, stop if you’re asked to and obey all signage.
