We stopped in for a late tea and was very pleasantly surprised, we didn't have to wait long for our dinner and the food was freshly cooked and a good choice.

Staff were polite and helpful. Very clean and pleasant place to eat. Food was served fast and hot and very tasty and plenty of it, well done to the chef. Can’t fault it one bit. Far cheaper than other local places and better value for money . Will definitely visit again. ���

Had my daughters baby shower here on Sunday and the staff couldn’t do enough, great service and the buffet was fantastic!!

Great service! Managed to fit us in as a table on 9 at late notice on mother’s day. All food was very food, huge portions. The waitress was very attentive and helpful.

Booked last minute on sat night , halfway house were very helpful and was a lovely cottage we stayed in, couldn't fault it, thank you

I visited yesterday lunchtime and was impressed with the extensive new menu. I chose Hunter's Chicken as it is one of my favourites and it was a very good price. It arrived on a sizzling platter with chips in a small bowl. It was a smallish portion but was very cheap so it was expected and as it was lunctime I was happy with that.

It came with half a grilled tomato and fried onions, I would have liked some salad or vegetables to have been included but it was very nice and I wasn't disappointed.

I would visit again and look forward to making my way through the extensive menu.

Wanted a glass of Chardonnay uhh don’t do Chardonnay but they have red wine no thank you. !!!!! Did manage to get a glass of white wine but it was certainly heart burn alert �

Normally ok but tonight not so good bought starters with the main meal out together, couldn't tell the garlic mushrooms were mushrooms then find a long hair under the chicken, told waitstress she said shed tell them no apology nothing so very rude and ignorant tbh

Went on a Friday night with some friends we didn't stay long there is more life in the cem tbh when I worked here for Simon the place would be full and we would have either a band or karaoke although it was clean and staff are lovely was bored stiff not what you would expect on a Friday night

Rude staff bad attitudes hardly anything on the menu that was available as they had ran out! food wasnt great tasted burnt no salad on the burgers wasn't impressed at all seems to have gone down hill since last visit the whole menu has changed the previous menu was amazing and the prices have increased drastically drinks were very expensive a bottle of bud a coke and 3 very small fruit shoots came to £11 won't be visiting again!

One of the worst meals have ever had! Food poorly presented... not even a garnish with starters.... limp lettuce on caesar salad... diet coke was flat.. whole place is filthy... spent less money in chiquitos for 100% better meal and experience!

Just been to the halfway with my mumzy and girls for a meal if your thinking of going there I wouldn't bother every meal 7 in total was wrong I ordered a ribeye steak that was £2 dearer than others to be fobbed off with a rump piece of leather needless to say I didn't eat it only 1 poor waiter that had already tried to correct the Chefs mistakes called me soft but I didn't complain to him as I felt sorry for him WONT be spending any more money there!!!!!

I waited 1hour and half and oinions weren't cooked it was all onions not much chicken just one small chicken breast chopped up I want my money back I'm fuming 1 and half for food I complained askin for free pudding got nothing not happy at all onions were raw n pepper was not cooked properly add me on fb in box me I want refund 1hour n half piss take fuming don't come close I want full refund

Food took over an hour to come out, when we asked they hadn't sent the order through. We won the quiz but because the people who marked it didn't add up the score so he put us in last place. Will not be going back again! Joke!

Food is awful poor quality, asked for mayonnaise they don't have it apparently!!! Don't be fooled because it's 2 for 1 quality is definately compromised, we thought we'd give it a go after its redecorating, I really wouldn't bother!

Crap sent all food back as it's missing things and not cooked and Sure that was a 1 once steak not as chef was busy as only ones with food order. Felt sorry for little one on bar serving food and drinks on her own. Finally got food now over cooked. Like I said felt sorry for little one as trying to serve arrigrant customers coz football even though was only 10 in here. An b4 u ask u try? I have as I've ran pubs with food and football on well busier places than here wiv not one complaint. Would give zero stars if I could. How do you manage with 12 or more customers. Girl split 2 drinks one a short for other customers and didn't even top back up but she was trying to keep everyone happy by herself. Need training skills all of staff. old chef jumped in to help serve even though she don't work here any more all I got was 25% off our 2 drinks. Little one did apologise I said it's not your fault. Train your staff and manager should always be around unless that was her ignoring everyone Sat in corner

We were told after checking where our food was, weren't you told there be wait because we have a big party in! It was only a table of 8 and 2 other tables in for food, not exactly busy.
