A wonderful morning spent with Jac today who made this gorgeous pink jacket. This was my last Saturday Stitching class for the foreseeable future. Thank you to Aliscrafts for your support these past few months. And a huge thank you to all the wonderful women that have come to these classes. You have been truly inspiring. Dx

Summer Jacket Workshop: 8 April. Last class for this series of workshops. These are versatile jackets which are very simple to make. The fabric on the one below is a bit fashion, but it can be made in denim, canvas and heavy cotton. Pm me if you're interested in having a go :) Deb x

For those who love their couture and fashion history...see a ream of photos I took yesterday at Musee Bourdelle in Paris (I live with rugby mad boys so was there for another reason but snuck off my myself for the morning!). I believe that this exhibition on Balenciaga is coming to London in May. Dx

Here's some photos from the skirt workshop on Saturday at Aliscrafts. It's hard to believe that these skirts are the same pattern! The ladies all had their own interpretation of the basic skirt. Well done ladies - top class! X

Wow! This live video of Gucci is stunning. Clearly based on 1920s and 30s haute couture. Remember that this is high fashion and will filter down the high street in a more wearable form. Wonderful x
