Hi everyone yes it’s a bank Holiday again this weekend please if you have not realised book in now not to be disappointed. Suns going to be out and it will be a shame to miss out. It’s Cowbridge May Fair as well. We’ll post other great events locally later. Cannot believe so many Bank holidays so close to each other crazy really.

Great first weekend for the opening of South Wales Aviation Museum all of our guests who went were very positive.

Brilliant weather at the moment for camping and relaxing. Don’t forget the South Wales aircraft museum is going to open soon which is less than a mile away from us and it promises to be a great experience of iconic planes and aviation memorabilia.

Well the suns out grass is mowed the clocks go forward so great for barbecuing it must be camping time. Looking forward to greeting all you fab campers to Happy Jakes for a long hot summer.

What a great start to 2019 when we opened this. Thank you so much from all of us at Happy Jakes to our lovely guests that took the time to leave such positive comments and suggestions on where we can improve. Be assured we will try to improve on this score thank you so much again.

What a beautiful sky to camp under

Slow down and enjoy the journey. These past couple of years have reminded me that when it is our time to leave this body no one can stop it. We have one life to live. The material things we invest in are left behind only to be discarded. Life is not always about the photos. I'm going to start a "reunion of friends and family". The idea is to see who reads a post without a picture. If no one reads my post, this will be a very short experiment. Stunning weather for some Autumn camping guys so we are offering an autumn special of only £20 per night per pitch for two adults two children.

Why did the pig wear yellow coveralls? He split a seam in his blue ones. What do you call a pig with three eyes? Piiig!
... One day a little pig walked into a bar. He asked the bartender for a beer, and after drinking it he asked where the toilet was. The bartender told him where it was and off walked the pig. Then another little pig walked in and he also asked the bartender for a beer. After drinking it, he too asked where the toilet was. Once again the bartender gave him directions and off walked the pig. Then yet another little pig walked into the bar and asked for a beer, which he drank. Then the bartender asked him, "Don't you want to know where the toilet is?"The pig replied, "No, I'm the little pig that went wee wee wee all the way home".
I was reading a book on pig anatomy the other day. It was all pretty standard until I got to the end. Then there was a twist in the tale.
