Harbourmaster Hotel

Very disappointed. My wife had eaten here before and found it to serve very good food. Indeed the food was excellent on this visit but the enjoyment was spoilt by the lackadaisical service of the two waitresses that left us with both the main and desert menus for over half an hour on each occasion. There was no apparent reason for this. The establishment was only half full and they were often standing around doing nothing or talking to each others. To be fair other tables seemed to have prompt service but not my wife and I. I shall not visit again.

Amazing hotel beautifully decorated with great extra touches. Our room was spotless as we're all the public area's. Evening was meal delicious best streak by a mile. Excellent choice for breakfast full Welsh on first day going to try something different in the morning. Very happy with our stay in a beautiful little town and a wonderful hotel

Lived up to all our high expectations. The perfect stay, great dinner and range of breakfast dishes including Welsh rarebit and pancakes. The harbourmaster has the buzz that only the best places achieve.

Great atmosphere, very good staff and nice food. Set in a beautiful part of the world. Aberaeron is definitely worth a visit. I thought the set menu for dinner was overpriced. But apart from that, all else was enjoyable.

What a fantastic hotel this is, we've just visited for our anniversary and wish we'd stayed the week! The attention to detail with decor is spot on, even the light fittings were beautiful! Our suite was not only stylish and comfortable (I've not slept so well in a long time) but so well set out with a huge bathroom and terrace. The food is utterly amazing, from the get go with the complimentary coffee and cake we could tell it was on another level. We had three courses in the evening and can't fault anything, the breakfast was just as good with so many options I wish I had a much bigger appetite! Can't wait to go again.

Excellent food, variety and quality. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Good selection of drinks. Slightly rushed between courses. And a sunset walk along the harbour afterwards! Would definitely recommend and will go again.

Very friendly host who quickly assisted us on a busy Saturday evening who found us a table. Clearly the place to be in the town, good range of beers including craft draught. The food is excellent and worth the money. Great decor with a very friendly local crowd.

Came here for food which was spot on. We ordered the sharing antipasti and meat platers which were very very tasty. Really cool interior

We popped in for lunch. Chose simple items, avocado with poached eggs and terrine, both as good as we have ever had. Would strongly recommend the food here. The service was a bit odd in that the nibble, humans and focaccia , we had ordered as a starter came with our dishes rather than before. All forgiven as this too was quite exceptional in quality.

I rarely rave but have no hesitation in doing so about the Harbourmaster.
