Harlech Castle

Unique castle with stunning views. Excellent information displayed throughout the ground

A must see. Good access to almost all parts. Climbing the tower and walking the wall is a great experience, particularly on a windy day!

It cost us around £7 entry charge but well worth the visit. Fantastic views and well presented. However parking should have been free to visitors

As a lover of castles this is a great one. Not the biggest but the scenery from the castle is breathtaking. Nice little cafe and dramatic talks tell you the myths & legends of the castle.

I'd recommend this place & very reasonably priced.

Excellent, staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, not just to us, but everyone i heard them talking too.

Clean, tidy, well signed visitor centre.

Castle interpretation was in good condition and well presented.

Access to various parts was very good, although you would need a head for heights for the tower tops and ramparts.

The usual gift shop was stocked with a good range of items for all.

Have a walk around the town too, plenty of interesting shops, etc

Brilliant castle with wonderful views, even on cloudy days. You need to be careful on wet days as some of the steps and battlements can get slippery underfoot. Lots to see and explore. You could easily spend a few hours here as there are also displays, a shop and a cafe on site and it is also right in the town.

Fabulous views from this historic castle! See the dragon inside. Nice cafe on site serving drinks, cake and light lunches. Steep hill walk if parking on the lower part of town, but definitely worth it. Looks beautiful lit at night too.

Brilliant castle, though access was a bit limited, great views from the tower and walls. Nice visitor centre and brilliant cafe on site. Not cheap, but don't mind spending a few quid on an interesting historic building.

I love the history of the castle and touching the stone walls and imagining what they had witnessed. I was singing the song all the way round, which received a few strange looks... the cafe is large and well staffed and the food is a-ma- zing! A definite must see...
