Lovely traditional tea shop with snacks main meals available. Free WiFi, friendly staff, food cooked fresh so bit of a wait which was acceptable.

Amazing club sandwich! Got the order slightly wrong and the scones were bought in. But never mind, you can't have it all.

Been here a few times, mainly for a cuppa. Had my first Sunday lunch; staff are lovely but the food is what let it down. For my lamb Sunday lunch @ £10.95 I received a small, single slice of lamb that was tough, a Yorkshire pud (cold), a single small roast potato and four tiny slithers of parsnip. There was lashings of veg, but veg is cheap! I must admit the Sunday lunch felt like a rip off to me at that price. If it wasn't for the Sunday lunch, I would have given four stars.

Had a lovely breakfast before travelling back down south, lovely food, excellent service

Decent food, though a little on the expensive side. When I last visited the staff were a little uncommunicative, but it was busy (as it usually is), so they probably had a lot to do.
