Visited for breakfast and a few days later for lunch. Both times the restaurant was spotless, service was excellent and the food superb. I can’t remember the lady’s name who served us breakfast but the lad who served our lunch was Rhys. He was pleasant, efficient and had a lovely manner with a sense of humour.

Just had a lovely meal so tasty everyone enjoyed will definitely be back soon x

It’s not often ( if ever ) we visit Harvesters, after having bad experiences in other ones previously. We decided to have a quick bite to eat before heading up the valleys road on a return trip.



We were met by Lisa who was extremely pleasant and friendly. Showed us around and where everything was.



Our food was really nice. I was impressed. Great service by a fab employee. Really nice surroundings ( Lisa said it had been refurbished ). Nice quick and easy bite to eat.

Arrived 10 minutes early but shown directly to table. Served by Rhian.



Very friendly and efficient. Had Ultimate Burger. Well named. Lovely cooked burger chicken and Ribs.



My son's meal came with gravy but we asked for more and Rhian smiled and returned in minutes With



More gravy. Well done.



Very fresh and we'll maintained salad bar.



Star of the evening was the Cherry Pie and custard. Wonderful.



Overall we all enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

Friendly staff, superb outdoor areas where dogs are allowed, great salad bar with something new every time. We'll worth a visit.

Been here about 4 or 5 times. Yes we have had to wait for our food, but not once have we had a bad meal. The staff r very friendly,so lookin forward to the new refurb.

Arrived at 11-15 for lunch but the lunch menu didn't start until 11-30. Was seated by a lovely lady who informed me that there would be no problem if I wanted lunch menu as long as I would wait until 11-30 while I was waiting she offered to get me a drink . At 11-30 smack on she then took my order ifarrive at my table 15 minutes later bought to me by a different young lady after about 5 minutes the server returned to me and asked very politely if I was enjoying my food and if I needed anything. My lunch was very nice scoffed the majority of it. I then asked for the bill and she brought to to me within a minute fabulous service and the food was lovely

We were a Table of 3 seated & served quickly .

We found the menu quite basic if I'm honest. Salad bar was not well stocked unfortunately at the time we were there. Our Main courses arrived quickly, portions were not huge so plenty of room for dessert which were very good although very expensive. Service was good too.

Second Saturday early evening visit for us, good you can book online too. First visit was better due to the experienced girl who served us, she was lovely . Food good too and served quite quickly, so we enjoyed. Last Saturday seemed we were served by a newbie! He didn't have a clue what Chardonnay was, or didn't know much about the food option I chose, or how to say it! Cheerful enough though. We did wait ages! Seemed like they were expecting a large group and the staff were slightly distracted. We shall return again as we do like this Harvester.

Lisa the waitress was great. Very friendly and great service. Ordered an Ultimate mixed grill and when it came to the table it was missing the gammon. Kitchen noticed they had missed this before having a chance to ask Lisa. On driving home actually realised that the 2 pork sausages were missing off the meal also. As tedious as it sounds when you pay £60 on meals you except what’s on the menu

I went on the 30th December my husband and two friends of ours, it was my husbands birthday, we were given our table and they told us about not having some of the things on the menu due to refurbishment, this was no problem to us we chose something they did have. Our meals came and they were lovely, we all enjoyed. thank you Harvester

Had the vegan breakfast here today food was ok.

but out of all the harvesters i go to, this is the only one that doesn't do soya milk so not totally vegan friendly .....

Been so many times, I've lost count. The food is always plentiful, good service and delivered quickly. Free salad bar! My only negative is the exhaust system where the meat cooks is bad so a lot of food smoke drifts throughout the restaurant.

Won’t rush back dont like the new day time menu hardly anything on there ended up we liked with a starter as a main and the salad bar is nothing like it used to be that nothing to do with this particular restaurant I know but just want it known loads in other tables were complaining as ell as for this place service wasn’t great and drinks machine for refillables half wasn’t working and app hadn’t been working for quite some time so ended up with drinks we didn’t really like as well .

Went here last night for food, food was lovely, waitress was fab but it was absolutely boiling! I can’t believe in this weather you don’t have any windows that open and the waitress said the fire door has to stay shut! Crazy!

We visit Llandarcy Harvester regularly as we take a group of special needs youngsters there. We never expect too much from the food but the staff are always helpful & very understanding with the group. Yesterday though was a real disappointment we waited an hour for our food with 3 out of the 11 meals being served so much ahead of the others that the meals were finished before the rest arrived!!! Our poor waitress was mortified. I think maybe the kitchen staff need a rethink on their work methods as the front of house staff are doing an amazing job x

Visited yesterday and luckily had a 50% off voucher. Katie our waitress was fantastic, friendly and helpful. We both had the pulled pork burger. The restaurant was quiet but we waited ages for our food. The small white rolls with the salad were tiny and hard. The burger roll was soggy and the amount of pulled pork was a lot smaller than we expected. At £10.49 a meal it was poor value for money, thankfully our voucher brought each meal down to half price, the meal wasn't worth anymore than the £5.25 we paid for it. Very expensive place to eat for not very good food. Disappointed.

I was dining alone so when main course was finished, I left my drink and went to the bathroom, I intended to purchase a dessert but came back to a relaid table and my drink removed. Not impressed, the waitress did apologised and told me the girl in charge of seating people had taken it on herself to clear the table. The second observation was serveral tables where not being used but customers where having a 40 minute including me

We waited by the entrance to book in for 15 minutes ,then waited again to be served ,during this time I went to the male toilets I was so shocked how unclean the urinals the toilets .had dried feaces on the toilet and feaces marks in the toilet no toilet blocks in the urinals ..hygienic standards were terrible ,the meal arrived chips were over cooked the battered cheese. Full of grease could hear staff moaning about the short staff levels .then you could see the head chef shaking his head and food on the hot plates waiting for over 5 minutes .plus staff on the mobiles texting .

Never go to that harvester again the meal we could not even eat it all money spent for crap service

We stopped there on the way back from a funeral. I had a double gammon with nine chips and my wife and her cousin had half a pigeon! Did I say pigeon? I meant half a chicken but it was more like a pigeon. We eat a lot at Harvester but that has been the worst one. We travel the M4 regularly and it’s a shame that we won’t be eating there again!!!

Very busy and very short staffed, had to ask for table to be cleaned, and was left with cleaning spray and cloth, not all dishes were removed, chicken very dry and I had to keep picking broken bones out of my mouth,

Nothing to shout about, wont be rushing back, very slow service for a half filled restaurant, only dark fruit cider on tap or bulmers from a bottle. Very poor kids choice on menu, no fish fingers available, bought the meal deal to be told there was no ice cream for them afterwards. Chips were cheap and tasteless and bread roll on the burgers were dry. The lady who served us was very nice.

Food was nice , had to wait 20 mins for drink and had food first , service was terrible but waitress was very nice , must be understaffed.

There were a lot of flies and my daughter saw a rat in outside eating area , won't be returning anytime soon.

Absolute terrible service never been so disappointed in somewhere in all my life. We was in the restraunt nearly 5 hours, because we waited so long on our mains to come, which were 2hours, then two had to be sent back because of them being wrong, they didn't have much of the sauces for the steaks. I have normally loved going and normally never had a bad word. But lastnight really took the biscuit, there were 11 of us, 2 were older children which they started to get bored and tired for waiting for so long that they didn't really want to eat by then. My friends food had to be sent back after it being a long time anyway and she said she had gone past the stage of hungry now that she had waited so long she felt sick. I had a young baby who was also getting bored, fustrated and tired of waiting we was all finding it really hard to keep her busy or happy because she was so fed up, due to her food being so long she didn't really eat her food that I ordered for her because I had to give her little bits to keep her distracted of the time. The man that was dealing with us for the night was very apologetic and he did say it wasn't his fault and he was trying to do everything he could, but we didn't have no apology from a manager etc for being there nearly 5hrs which wasn't planned at all for a 9yr old little boys birthday. We got there before half 5 and I don't think I got home till around 11 and I had a nightmare of a time settling my daughter after her food and when I was home. I do apologise for the ranting I don't normally say anything but we was all so tired and fed up!!

Want here for a family birthday 7 people and it was crap they got the food orders wrong two steaks was not cook to what we asked will not be going here again get better food in McDonald’s

Visited on the 28th of December and it was awful. Service was terrible not one smile on any of the staffs faces. Salad bar was very poor run out of everything. No bread rolls. No sauces. When I asked if they had any sauce they said we are running our stock right down because we are closing for a bit but we had no warning before we sat down to eat. Our meals were awful I stopped my little boy from eat the brand as they looked gone off all dried up. Will never go again

Steak cooked wrong, sent back was wrong again. Was offered a replacement but my family had already finished they’re meal so I declined.

Six of use just popped in to have breakfast and i have to say it was really grubby bits of food and juice over the counter and floor.

No bread juice or much of any thing out had to ask for every thing and waited 15 minutes for bread ??.

And it was not even busy their every one that i spoken to was also saying the same thing to.

And i thought that they were disabled and children friendly premises but clearly not.

Much of the continental breakfast items are not acceptable to any one in a wheelchair or a child they are way to hi and out of reach and the juice dispensers are easy to pull over of the wooden stands that they are on.

Me and wife left with out having any thing as we had to pop back and forth to get things for the children when things finally got brought out .

OMG horrendous! Was told 40 minute wait which we thought ok it’s not that busy maybe it won’t be as long as that- was more like an hour to get table and have just been there 2 hours and didn’t get our main meals!!! A table of 4 boys came in just as we were shown to our table and had their food straight away!!! It’s always been pretty bad and haven’t been for years so thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt!!!!! No still crap!!! Don’t give up 2 hours of your life you won’t get back! We’ve just done McDonalds drive through none of which I can’t have so thanks Harvester for a shit night!!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank harvester Llandarcy for completely ruining my birthday. Monday I phone regarding the sharing steak. I'm a big lad I like my grub. I get told you only have to pre-order it if it's not a Thursday/Friday/Saturday.



So today, 01/02/2018.. A Thursday.. We got to the restaurant around 5.10pm to be greated with friendly faces, a nice newly refurbished restaurant and a nice atmosphere.. Only for it to take a turn for the worse.



Firstly I get told that the sharing steaks had sold out (at 10 past 5 hard to belive I know) even after making sure Monday, that there would guaranteed be enough to serve all customers that ask without pre-ordering. So I'm far from happy after starving myself all day ready to tuck into it.



Secondly, I get told that the mixed grill is just standard now you can't go large anymore because of the new menu.



Thirdly, myself and my partner order a 16oz steak and a lamb flat bread. 30minutes later the waitress comes over to inform us they have infact run out of the lamb flat bread. What an absolute piss take! 30minutes after the order has been placed only then you realise?!



My food comes out.. How I'm expected to sit there and eat it whilst my partners waiting for hers is beyond me so that's sent back.



After another 25 minutes (by this time we had been there for an hour and 20 minutes) of waiting for a rare steak-less than 5 minutes to cook and a chicken dish that was my partners second order we decided to leave.



What an absolute shambles. The place has only had a new face-lift. It's all the same staff there should be no excuse of 'teething' problems and quite frankly the place couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.



Its not all doom and gloom though. Katie our lovely waitress who was also appauled by the situation. Put that lady in charge!! Unless you want the resteraunt into the ground very sharpish I suggest you take this advice. Absolute gem of a waitress.

I am so disappointed with our visit today � our friend told us how “amazing” harvester breakfasts were and how there is unlimited everything and pancakes (and most importantly - unlimited hash browns) !! So we went out of our way to go to the harvester in llandarcy because of this breakfast recommendation. They didn’t exactly open at 9am sharp.. and when they did finally open, the waitor was still putting his shoes on! I would have thought everyone and everything would be ready for opening in the morning.... but clearly not. so we sat down and looked at the menu. No “unlimited breakfast” in sight!!? Despite the online website saying they did unlimited breakfast I discovered they had changed the “unlimited” wording to “ultimate”. So straight off the bat we were disappointed. But ordered our individual breakfasts anyway. We thought hopefully the “continental breakfast bar” will be up to scratch (expecting cheese, croissants, pancakes etc.) but there was only choice of 3 cereals, some uninviting yogurt, fruit and toast. � half way through our meal they brought out some pastries to the breakfast bar. But no pancakes in sight. Then our cooked breakfast finally came (after everyone elses cooked breakfasts being served before us despite us being the first in..) . My poached eggs were over cooked and not runny � and my partners fried eggs were over cooked too and not runny. He also said how disappointed he was with the so called “Ultimate” breakfast which was well below average. So our visit today was just one disappointment after another and we won’t be coming back. Ridiculously over priced for what we got. Just sorry we didn’t go to the Toby Cavery breakfast instead! �

Dreadful place dreadful staff. Booked a table online for last night. What a disappointment. Meat wasn't cooked chicken was pink. When I complained I was told it was cooked. Had to insist it was removed and replaced with a cooked chicken by the time it was replaced i didn't want it as i had waited too long.

My husband asked for his steak well done came back pink in middle. So ended up taking it home for our dog. Extra sauce was missing had to ask. AVOID should have upgraded the food not the inside.

Will never eat there again.

Dreadful food, salad bar was grubby, not topped up, spoons where sticky and needed changing, various salad items mixed in with other salad items, EVENTUALLY my beer was served but in a woman's goblet not a pint beer glass.. The main food when it arrived was grim, the salad looked like nettles and mostly wilted, the chicken was more giblets and snot than chicken, over cooked, dry and tuff the ribs where not coated and very little meat on them, the chips where mush, the pineapple still had its skin and core and impossible to cut. The onion rings where dripping in oil and we rung out the fat to prove a point... the entire experience was hugely disappointing and we will never use Harvester again.. We said this a couple years ago and this experience reminded us why never to go back. Lots of money spent decorating doesn't change rubbish mgt, poor service and rubbish food.

Disappointed, they had run out of bacon, pancakes, waffles.. fruit was disappointing, I am very unlikely to return..

D.I.R.T an irish man can’t legitimately have a £50 note apparently �� and staff skipped over us and after finally taking our order “5 drinks” one scoffed and said “sorry i asked now” as if a bar worker never poured 5 of the same pints before

Cattery so dirty 4 forks on the table and they were stinking and then I couldn't have Strongbow what they advertised and I wasn't out of another cider with two chicken Meal deal she offered cheap cider I said why can't I have dark fruits on the tap was not allowed place was dirty staff was rude boy was no input either never going to harvester there again walked out they need get grip

It’s always been pretty bad and haven’t been for years so thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt!!!!! No still crap!!! Don’t give up 2 hours of your life you won’t get back! We’ve just done McDonalds drive through none of which I can’t have so thanks Harvester for a shit night!!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank harvester Llandarcy for completely ruining my birthday. Monday I phone regarding the sharing steak. I'm a big lad I like my grub. I get told you only have to pre-order it if it's not a Thursday/Friday/Saturday.



So today, 01/02/2018.. A Thursday.. We got to the restaurant around 5.10pm to be greated with friendly faces, a nice newly refurbished restaurant and a nice atmosphere.. Only for it to take a turn for the worse.



Firstly I get told that the sharing steaks had sold out (at 10 past 5 hard to belive I know) even after making sure Monday, that there would guaranteed be enough to serve all customers that ask without pre-ordering. So I'm far from happy after starving myself all day ready to tuck into it.



Secondly, I get told that the mixed grill is just standard now you can't go large anymore because of the new menu.



Thirdly, myself and my partner order a 16oz steak and a lamb flat bread. 30minutes later the waitress comes over to inform us they have infact run out of the lamb flat bread. What an absolute piss take! 30minutes after the order has been placed only then you realise?!



My food comes out.. How I'm expected to sit there and eat it whilst my partners waiting for hers is beyond me so that's sent back.



After another 25 minutes (by this time we had been there for an hour and 20 minutes) of waiting for a rare steak-less than 5 minutes to cook and a chicken dish that was my partners second order we decided to leave.



What an absolute shambles. The place has only had a new face-lift. It's all the same staff there should be no excuse of 'teething' problems and quite frankly the place couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.



Its not all doom and gloom though. Katie our lovely waitress who was also appauled by the situation. Put that lady in charge!! Unless you want the resteraunt into the ground very sharpish I suggest you take this advice. Absolute gem of a waitress.

I am so disappointed with our visit today � our friend told us how “amazing” harvester breakfasts were and how there is unlimited everything and pancakes (and most importantly - unlimited hash browns) !! So we went out of our way to go to the harvester in llandarcy because of this breakfast recommendation. They didn’t exactly open at 9am sharp.. and when they did finally open, the waitor was still putting his shoes on! I would have thought everyone and everything would be ready for opening in the morning.... but clearly not. so we sat down and looked at the menu. No “unlimited breakfast” in sight!!? Despite the online website saying they did unlimited breakfast I discovered they had changed the “unlimited” wording to “ultimate”. So straight off the bat we were disappointed. But ordered our individual breakfasts anyway. We thought hopefully the “continental breakfast bar” will be up to scratch (expecting cheese, croissants, pancakes etc.) but there was only choice of 3 cereals, some uninviting yogurt, fruit and toast. � half way through our meal they brought out some pastries to the breakfast bar. But no pancakes in sight. Then our cooked breakfast finally came (after everyone elses cooked breakfasts being served before us despite us being the first in..) . My poached eggs were over cooked and not runny � and my partners fried eggs were over cooked too and not runny. He also said how disappointed he was with the so called “Ultimate” breakfast which was well below average. So our visit today was just one disappointment after another and we won’t be coming back. Ridiculously over priced for what we got. Just sorry we didn’t go to the Toby Cavery breakfast instead! �

Dreadful place dreadful staff. Booked a table online for last night. What a disappointment. Meat wasn't cooked chicken was pink. When I complained I was told it was cooked. Had to insist it was removed and replaced with a cooked chicken by the time it was replaced i didn't want it as i had waited too long.

My husband asked for his steak well done came back pink in middle. So ended up taking it home for our dog. Extra sauce was missing had to ask. AVOID should have upgraded the food not the inside.

Will never eat there again.

Dreadful food, salad bar was grubby, not topped up, spoons where sticky and needed changing, various salad items mixed in with other salad items, EVENTUALLY my beer was served but in a woman's goblet not a pint beer glass.. The main food when it arrived was grim, the salad looked like nettles and mostly wilted, the chicken was more giblets and snot than chicken, over cooked, dry and tuff the ribs where not coated and very little meat on them, the chips where mush, the pineapple still had its skin and core and impossible to cut. The onion rings where dripping in oil and we rung out the fat to prove a point... the entire experience was hugely disappointing and we will never use Harvester again.. We said this a couple years ago and this experience reminded us why never to go back. Lots of money spent decorating doesn't change rubbish mgt, poor service and rubbish food.

Disappointed, they had run out of bacon, pancakes, waffles.. fruit was disappointing, I am very unlikely to return..

D.I.R.T an irish man can’t legitimately have a £50 note apparently �� and staff skipped over us and after finally taking our order “5 drinks” one scoffed and said “sorry i asked now” as if a bar worker never poured 5 of the same pints before

Cattery so dirty 4 forks on the table and they were stinking and then I couldn't have Strongbow what they advertised and I wasn't out of another cider with two chicken Meal deal she offered cheap cider I said why can't I have dark fruits on the tap was not allowed place was dirty staff was rude boy was no input either never going to harvester there again walked out they need get grip
