Was here on 24th & 25th on a recent rugby tour and food was perfect however what made this experience well worth the visit was the gentle giant Hywel behind the bar. He was more than courteous & conversational he was great fun and thoroughly professional and even treated us to a couple of songs. This guy is box office. What a voice...Your gain is most certainly showbiz' loss. Great hire for Harvester. Top tip for customers is ask for Hywel to serenade your group or party you will not be disappointed. Video clips available as proof �

Came last night for a meal with the girls and the waitress that served us was 5* I'm sorry I missed her name but she was very helpful and her customer service was spot on. Our meals were lovely and it was a great evening x diolch

Been several times and always had good service and good food. Always been around 2pm if this makes any difference. You get what you pay for and the choice at the salad bar is fab if you're doing Slimming World and want to stay on plan. We were seated inside 5 minutes. Ordered and food delivered to table inside 20 mins. Waitress Chloe was lovely and friendly and total bill for 2 of us including drinks came to £17. You can't fault it.

We had a meal yesterday,Realy disappointed,we were there a few weeks ago,it was delicious,we spoke to waitress who told us they had changed the menu,it cost £30 so not cheap,won’t be visiting again,such a shame as we enjoyed the old menu.

Hygiene not great re floor food and crayons under the table. Same as last visit dissapointing.... steak fine chips cold. Didn't complain as we were squeezed in....

Went here with family for my Birthday we booked for 6 pm a table for 6 we were shown to our table on time our Waitress was nice took our drinks order came back within 10 minutes with drinks told to help ourselves to the salads after that it went downhill we waited another 30 minutes 2 mains came out another 5 minutes another 2 came out followed by the last 2 we think our meals we waiting to come out at least 10 minutes before so my steak was cold it was chewy and our portions were very poor ,we should have complained but we will not be going back in a hurry.

Waited for quite a while which is fine, only for the food to come out luke warm and the side sauces to have gone off that we were given, second time in the past 6 months to come here and I think it's going to be my last unfortunately.... shame.

The salad bar was awful, only scraps there. Wasn’t replenished the whole time we were there. Waited an hour for our meal. Won’t be going back there anytime soon.

Not very busy but we're told it would be a ten minute wait. We were seated half hour later. Waitress took forever to come and take our order and eventually we had to call her over. Not particularly friendly or helpful. Again at the end had to wait a long time for the table to be cleared and dessert orders to be taken. The place was absolutely freezing and people were sitting in their coats. Food arrived speedily and was good, but we'd barely touched our salads.

Absolutely appauling attittude from the new manager. A simple mistake was made on our bill, on the restaurants behalf. We had no problem with paying the correct price, but we didn't even get a smile from the woman, let alone an apology. Will NOT be coming here again, staff were all lovely. But the manager is in the wrong career. It is a family friendly restaurant and unfortunately she could not deliver that. VERY RUDE!

Went for food yesterday the floor was slippery and when I mentioned it to the hostess (front of house) she seemed to fob me off (other tables close to us later stated that they found floor very slippery and one had slipped and hurt herself). When ordering a starter of spicy corn and mozzarella bites, mac and cheese bites came out instead and we were told that it was in the correct labelled food container and that they not had a complaint about they being the wrong starter. Our mains took awhile to come out and you could see they had been waiting awhile before coming to us. They were Luke warm but we were hungry so ate them. While eating our mains we noticed a few tables around us were having food sent back and people leaving without having their food. After having our food tho it wasn’t long after I got home that me and my partner were both unwell for the rest of the night. We will definitely not be returning here.

We took our children here today for a treat. We arrived at 3.00 and was told there would be a half hour wait. We didn't receive our food until 5.10pm. It was cold and conjealed but at this point we were so fed up we just ate it. We then waited 20 minutes for the table to be cleared to order desert for our kids...... We gave up and walked to the bar to pay our bill as no body came to clean our plates and ask us if we wanted desert. It was also very cold we had to keep our coats on and the salad bar was pathetic. Whole experience was a total let down, wasted our Sunday afternoon together as a family. We not be returning to harvester.

My mother went for food hear and could have died chocking on a piece of gamon and your useless staff done nothing of it wasn’t for some guy eating his dinner there at the right time she wouldn’t be here train your staff and sort them out how can you stand by and watch useless people

My meal was terrible. The prawns were not cooked. They were freezing! The chicken was dry. We did have money off the meal but we really should have not been billed. At 9.50 the waitress started cleaning the salad bar with fluid which made me heave. She was also banging the tins so loudly .....we left. 2 of our party from Weymouth were staying in the hotel next door........what a memory for them!!

Lukewarm food just plonked on plate burnt battered haloumi with no batter dirty sticky salad area. Not what you’d expect from harvester

Had food poisoning from here and been ill for three days your kitchen and staff need a serous look at !!

Currently sat in here now. Won’t be coming again the table was clean the floor full of food. Took an hour for food to come out. They forgot my daughters, both waitresses looked puzzled and ask what it was. The food was cold only hot thing about it was the plates. Both kids jacket potatoes burnt and dry. Kids sausage burnt. Kids bbq chicken cold and dry. Adult Rice stone cold. Mushy peas stone cold. I understand they are busy but service is very slow, and the food is not worth the wait.

Awful meal! Jacket potato was black and sprouting! Salmon was discoloured and inedible! Salad was not fresh!

After ordering are food it took nearly an hour to come out. Both kids food was stone cold but the plates were boiling! Some of are food was cold too. Table was clean but the floor was stinking! Hard chips and peas all over the floor. Kids wanted dessert , so we ordered some but took another 40 mins to come out! Not even busy today. Very disappointed and won't be coming back.
