My youngest son & I visited yesterday evening (Friday 23rd). We were seen to our table straight away. The waitress was very polite. Took our drink order & as she bought them to us we gave our food order which was served up in less than 10 minutes. My son went to the salad bar to get a bread roll, a member of staff not only moved the basket to make it easier but also gave him a napkin for it. All in all good food & great service.

Lovely breakfast and freshly cooked breakfast all you can eat and good value for money

I and my partner Tony grech we had a lovely meal,service was very good. We didn't book just turned up they said 45 minute wait we waited about 15 minutes. And it was crowed as it was a rugby wales V France game. Waitresses cauldnt fault them very polite and bar man. We loved it there food was tasty 😋

Had a lovely meal sat outside in the sunshine. The two staff in checked shorts couldn't have done more for us. But was let down by lady in spotted shirt that was not friendly and welcome. Failed to tell us tea was unlimited or tell us about the salad bar.



Overall experince was lovely perfect for afternoon in sun thank you

Absolutley fantastic...1st time today me and my partner have eaten here..never realised this was here..i had 3 chicken combo partner had fish goujon burger.well presented hot. Goo customer relations from staff will deffo be calling back..every time we are in cardiff..big pat on yhe back..well done..this is a little gem of a wetherspoons ��

Walked in and was seated straight away took a little while for our order to be taken

Ordered 2 gammon to be told no pineapple 🍍 only egg 🍳 which didn’t come with the gammon seemed a bit lacks s daisy but the waiter was very polite and attentive

Ordered the half chicken and rib combo. The chicken was falling off the bone and the ribs were fantastic. Only critique was that it says the chips are seasoned with sage and onion (which they weren't). I was really looking forward to those seasoned chips, and if I received them it would've been 5 stars. Can't wait to try the unlimited breakfast :)

Had the breakfast there yesterday . There was no small plates to put toast on we had to use bowls or no sugar they had run out . The food was nice and the lady who served us was lovely . Been and had breakfast in a different harvester before and had no issues and when asked for anything ( like glasses ) it was done no problem . In there it was a shrug of the shoulders ..

Food, salad bar and drinks were top notch. Service was absolutely diabolical. Took 15 minutes on a quiet Wednesday afternoon for our order to be taken, when waitress did finally come over, she yawned upon approaching the table and then proceeded to lean on our table whilst taking the order. Manager on shift was lovely, price and quality of food were fab, shake your staff are letting you down.

Had to wait 50 minutes for our food with 2 small children and then it was awful . My sister and I had burnt chicken and the children's burgers were like rubber ..Tge two children only ate their chips and couldn't eat the burger .. we actually left and went to Greggs !! How bad is that .. there were many empty tables so it wasn't even busy .. the chef had to keep calling for servers as dinners were piling up on the counter under the lights which made food dry .. won't be going back there

Came in today for a treat. After 2 previous disastrous visits we thought we'd give it another shot..should have gone to burger king instead!



After taking the order, no drink order taken!, the waitress came over and told me my starter was out of stock so i changed to something else and then our drink order was taken. Husband had coffee i asked for cider and black.

Waitress came over and said sorry no cider! So opted for coke instead.

Went to the salad bar, what kind of crappy stuff do you put on your salad, it tasted horrid, some kind of oil, whats wring with normal salad as it comes mot adding stuff to it.

Husbands coffee came and so did our starter. It was ok but not first choice (still not had my drink).

When we finished our starter my drink finally appeared. Then on to main course. By the time we nearly finished the main I realised my onion rings were not delivered, pointless now as meal was over.



Also the table next to us ordered a meal amd when it came she didnt have her sauce so when the (same) waitress checked they said yeah sorry we ran out of that sauce, they should have said so she could have changed their mind as the meal wasnt what she fully asked for.

So after a � meal we headed off back home



Thank you Harvester for a crap birthday meal!

Visited on Sunday 18 February 2018 for breakfast. Food okay but a tad expensive for what you get! My wife and I were sat near an extractor fan which was right over a table adjacent to ours. To my dismay I noticed it was full of dirt/dust, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time... Also no Cranberry Juice and staff too lazy to fill juice jugs (Orange) so as you can imagine, will not be visiting again.

Visited here on Saturday late afternoon was apauled at the food as a rule we really enjoy harvester I had chicken and ribs.. ribs had no flavour what so ever all that was done was put some bbq sauce out of bottle just on top ...the chicken if thats what you could call it was only warm could not eat onion rings they were just all mush when was asked everything ok I told them no all she said was I will let them know my husband had Gammon and pineapple which was also cold table was dirty I will never go to any harvester again ....

Very gruby restaurant, food as expected and good service. The stairway to the toilet and ladies toilet is absolutely shocking.. needs a good clean and paint!!!!!!! Would not return.

Very disappointed..took my grandchildren for food here on 1st June.. very rude waitress.the tables were sticky and not been cleaned. The toilets were disgusting and out of order most of them ..asked for ice and was told they didn't have any but look by the bar and you might find some.......really.... would never return to any harvester again..

Not the type to complain as we love food places especially harvester , me and my little sister when there yesersday , couldn't wait to get us out , shocking it was !! Put the bill down in the table we were enjoying our drinks , then asked me " how would U like to pay ?? Neally pushing us out the door !! Will not be going there again !!

Not impressed and won't return. First food choice was not available despite coming from the "new sharing menu" and it being quite early for lunchtime. I know these things happen but it wasn't a good start. Then my daughters two starters came out missing things - the nachos had no salsa (how do you forget the salsa on nachos?!) and what looked like a slice of barely melted cheese - gross. Her mushroom came without the garlic bread. The waitress was helpful and got the salsa and the garlic bread but it shouldn't have been missing to start with - or the person who brought the food should have realised. Two of the four toilets were out of order, didn't look clean and there was a gaping hole in the wall! No soap in the dispensers so they'd "helpfully" provided industrial sized soap. Ok there was soap but seriously could the dispensers not have just been filled?! The place looked tired and worn out and in need of some serious work.

Being to this restaurant plenty of times,

I understand you can be busy,

When we first came into the restaurant it took about 10 minutes for us to be seated when there was staff walking around doing nothing and looked at us a few times, then when asked about the nhs discount we was told that we could receive the discount, when it came to paying, the waiter told us that the manger didn’t want to give the discount as it was his choice!

Chicken was also very dry, cheese burger was not up to normal standard!
