Popped in spontaneously on Sunday and we are so glad we did � Ashleigh was our waitress and she was lovely, I ordered the pulled pork beef burger, and I asked Ashleigh to tell the chef that it was the best burger I've ever had. Amazing, thank you! Great food, great service xx

Can't see what people are complaining about .have eaten here 3 times now as hubby on business in Cardiff. Each the salad cart has been fine ,good great and can not fault the service,friendliness and helpfull news of the staff.

They have brought water out for the dog and even packed leftover meat into a bag for him.

Waitresses were marvellous and couldn't do enough for us, even offering to box up my son's meal to take home as he has been poorly recently. As for the food, the salad seemed a little dry and there isn't the choice there used to be on the menu like there used to be. It all seems to be chicken, ribs and steak. Although I enjoyed my meal (original combo of BBQ chicken and ribs) I felt I had to go with this as didn't really fancy much else on the menu, it was all a bit samey.

Myself and my husband went for a meal last night with our 4 children and our friend. We never really expect much to be honest but we go as its cheap and cheerful, family friendly and caters for us all.... a vegetarian, 2 followers of a well known healthy eating plan and also 4 kids with completely different tastes when it comes to food.

Must say i can't really find fault with our evening. We turned up without booking and waited only a few minutes for 2 staff members to put a table together for us. Our orders were taken clearly and we didn't really have to wait long for our meals which were all present and correct. Our waitress was lovely and really made us feel welcome and relaxed, whatever we asked for she sorted with a smile. I remember thinking to myself how professional this young woman was for such a young looking lass.

Anyway, this was the first meal out as a family in a long time and we had a really lovely evening. Looking forward to coming back one day, lets just hope you can keep up the standard

Myself and 6 family members ate here yesterday and yioti the new trainee went above and beyond to accommodate us, nice food and good atmosphere.

Had a lovely meal. We were served by Charlotte who was excellent. I hope she is appreciated as she was more than helpful in all our requirements. I would b grateful if this could b passed onto her. I was a bit disappointed by how she was spoken too by a senior member of staff though. I was due to an appointment so I was eager to pay and was looking for a member of staff. A senior member saw me waiting and spoke to Charlotte quite abruptly, however it certainly wasn't her fault.

Food was ok shame thay dont listen to the customer's on what thay order. And have bigger glassed/cups for the fruit juice. After finishing thay took 20min to give the bill after we asked for it. But apart from that good value of food.

The staff was lovely, the unlimited breakfast was "Nice" not Lovely , the sausages were dry and burnt , the eggs were fried but had much better in lower rated establishments despite being cooked fresh, i did not have enough time to finish our continental bar meal when our meal arrived ,, dont get me wrong i love fast service, but this was ridiculous, maybe if the chef spent a little longer on cooking the eggs maybe this review would have been one more star

It was great to see vegan options. I had the stuffed peppers which were delicious. Unfortunately the only vegan desert was unavailable. The main criticism is that our meal was booked for 7pm on good Friday and they had sold out of fish. Surely common sense would tell you that on this particular day, fish would be in large demand and you would stock up, but this was not the case. Apart from that the service was great and everyone enjoyed their meals.

Lacking good customer service there only was one waitress there told us to wait by the entrance whilst she served other customers having both my disabled parents with me they couldn't stand at entrance for much longer so I seated us !! Don't think the waitress was too impressed however , considering all food orders were taken lots of food missing off of each of our plate after asking her for missing off my dads plate I gave up on the rest of us as she didn't seem to happy 😳 prob try another harvester in Cardiff from this experience as food was good

From the time we arrived it was over 30 minutes before a member of staff checked it. The white rolls ran out and a manager promised another customer to get onto that but the rolls hadn't appeared by the time we left. A new menu was in play and it seemed to be causing a few issues. Shame really as this is the 1st time this Harvester has let us down.

She seemed to be the only waitress but that should not interupt her customer service, despite this decided to go ahead with a booking i made for my daughters 18th birthday meal this evening (her choice) i arrived as arrange with cake and balloons just over an hour ago to find a notice that it was closed due to water works i called them only to be told they might open this evening.....now i totally appriciate things happen beyond our control but an email or a phone call to advise of the sittuation would not have gone a miss thankfully you cardiff bay restaurant has booked us in!!!!!!

We eat here regularly, but not sure if we will after Sunday's experience.

My husband, son and I went for Mother's Day teatime. The food was fine, but the actual hygiene was appalling. The salad cart was awful, the utensils were all sticky, children were being allowed to put their hands into the raisins and salad, using their hands in the Sweetcorn and pineapple, tasting some then putting it back. The chef cleaning the area looked as though he could have done with changing his clothes, I know it's been a long day , but when you see him come out of the kitchen looking like that., makes you wonder how clean it is, he looked as though he could have done with a good wash and shave.

The men's toilets were discusting urine all over the floor, my husband refused to take 6 yr old son in , he said the smell was awful.

I won't be eating from the salad cart again

This place has really gone down hill, majority of salad was dry, especially the beetroot and sweetcorn, the bbq chicken and bacon cheese melt stack, the amount of water in the chicken actually ran onto my plate, then to top it off, I found a large strand of hair, called the manageres over, and she said the chefs has hats on, so looked at her and the hair was bleached red hair, looks at her and yes you guessed right, she had bleached red hair, and served us our meal! Very disappointed, had to wait another 20 minutes for my meal to be cooked again, by then my wife and daughter,we're eating their desert!

Service with a smile waitress really nice though not sure about food had poached eggs and they were very dry on top put my finger on one as was hard looked like it had been cooked and left under a light to keep warm so sent my 3 eggs back but sadly I think I got the same eggs back as finger print was still there ??? Still filled a gap

Wouldnt come again the food was disgusting chips stale and the manager was useless
