We called half hour before asking for a table of 21. Fantastic staff, superb service food was spot on. Nice to see a shift manager getting his hands dirty
We called at 12.30 to ask if there was any chance we could have a table for 10 at 1pm, after a few seconds of checking, we were told yes. Such short notice as we had tried more than 5 times to call another place but never an answer, glad though as we had a lovely time. The table was all set out ready for us, goody bags at the ready for the children. Our server was a lovely lady, very happy and helpful. The food (despite many orders) came out in good time and was enjoyed by all. Oh and i got balloons for my 40th birthday :D
Salad cart could be filled quicker, but food was good.
Our favourite place to have a dinner together. My husband loves the ribs and for that we drive all the way from tenby at least every 2 weeks.
Lovely food and excellent service from Bethany! Fast and efficient service thanks
Lovely Lunch nice waitress, quick service
I visited a few weeks ago with my sister, we're both on a plant based diet so we're delighted to have the falafel and houmous wrap. Served by an incredibly helpful and lovely natured waitress called Kathy who went out of her way to ensure our meal was meat and dairy free. The only suggestion I would make would be to introduce some plant milks for the coffees etc to go with your vegan and vegetarian meals. Other than that everything was perfect.
Great food love the pepsi machine you canix all the drinks up
Father’s Day at harvester but forgot to book but Tomas the manager managed to squeeze us in - lovely jerk ribs - see you soon.
Staff very friendly and helpful, menu has changed since our first visit but not neccesarily for the better seems there was less choice. Plenty of Burgers and grills if that's what you want. I fancied nachos which were on as a starter, and I asked if they could do it as a main dish. I was willing to pay more but he didn't offer to ask as it wasn't a main course option on the menu.
Service very very slow.
We booked our table for 1pm. We’re greeted and taken to our table. Waited 20 mins for our waitress Chloe to come to us even though we were told she was just taken someone their food order then would be with us.
Food took the time expected.
Waited another half hour between finishing and coming over to take our pudding order, then waited a further 45 mins for the dessert.
Ended up being in there for 2.5hours when we watched others come and go.
Paid via the harvester app otherwise goodness knows how long we’d have been there waiting to pay
Booked for pre-movie dinner and after being seated, the waitress took our drinks order as we weren't ready to order our meals. We finally made our choices and was then told the signature rotisserie chicken wasn't available! We should have been told as we were seated. So we went back to the drawing board. I hesitantly chose a steak (I'm very fussy and the selection was seriously overpriced) I was disappointed...... The fillet was chewy. At nearly £19 with frozen chips (served luke warm) a bit of lettuce, 1/4 of grilled tomato and a mushroom + 2 small onion rings. If we hadn't booked during the 'early bird offer' I would have felt robbed. We hadn't been to a Harvester for years, and I don't think we will be back again unless prices come down or you can offer better value & quality.
We have eaten a few times here but the food is never hot...we have kept trying but how long do you keep trying and it’s not getting better
Service was poor and slow. We waited for ages before they took any order. Not even asking if we wanted drinks. They failed to open the bottle of Becks Blue for my Dad. The disabled toilets were blocked and dirty! Let alone difficult to maneuver through the door in the first place. The salad bar lettuce was manky.
I could go on and on. What was a celebratory meal for my daughters GCSE's was a lack lustre affair. Food was passable, service non existent.
Not the greatest experience as my medium steak was very over cooked and the burger wasn't quite cooked on the middle. Not a bad salad though!!!!!!
Earlier on, my husband (his birthday today) & I went to the Harvester, Carmarthen. We waited at the desk for a while, staff could obviously see us & ignored us, one waiter even walked right passed us & never looked at us. Why couldn't someone just say to us " someone will be with you shortly ". We felt invisible, we walked out in the end & will not be returning in a hurry. By the way, not the first time this has happened to us.
We booked a table for 6.30 on a Friday. It was my son's choice of venue to celebrate his excellent GCSE results. I was so pleased he chose Harvester because I knew jacket potatoes and steamed veggies were on the menu so I could stick to my slimming world plan whilst eating out. Except at the beginning of a busy weekend they could not offer jacket potatoes and steamed veggies! We very nearly walked out there and then and to be honest I wish we had.
Our food sat on the pass for a good 5 minutes before it was eventually brought to us. It was cold but we were starving so we ate most of it. We are by no means massive foodies, but We do expect chips and onions rings to be hot and crisp, cold and soggy is what we received and the teenagers all commented on their dry rubber sweetcorn. My rare steak was rare, but was not even still lukewarm by the time it arrived and what was supposed to be a mushroom looked like a post apocalyptic slug.
We bought dessert from Tesco on the way home because we didn't trust them to put together a good dessert or a hot cup of coffee after such a disaster of a meal. Definitely won't be returning after such a terrible meal I'm afraid.
Terrible food, dried up beans burnt burger and wilted lettuce on my sons plate. I had dried up scampi and burnt jacket potatoes yuk! Will never go back
I've been here a few times as it's my nephews fave place. Visited yesterday to treat him to a birthday meal. No fault with his food at all, however I had chicken wraps, just could no eat them, texture turned on me. So I wasted one and half of the two wraps that cost me £8. Informed two members of staff who didn't seem that bothered. Low and behold I've been awake half the night with a stomach upset!!
