This place looks small on the outside but it is huge! Every well organised with a welcoming atmosphere

Great selection of 2nd hand books (world's largest!) Which are well organised but not catalogued to be searched.

I could easily spend all day in here. A wonderful book shop full of hidden gems.

Oh, so many books!! A browsers paradise, with books on every subject you could imagine. Mix of new and secondhand, all at great prices.

Well its full of books. Has many other establishment's relating to the written word. The prices vary and if your willing to shop around you can get some good bargains. However a pound or even twenty doesn't go very far and we found the little shops without all the hype far more interesting. Food to eat is in abundance but again keep off the high streets. The scenery around Hay is beautiful as is most of Wales.

Huge selection of books in a beautiful building. Cafe on site of you need a rest from browsing.
