What a great way to use up all those pumpkins that didn't get carved in Halloween masterpieces. 🎃
Our friends and neighbours at Ty Cerrig Christmas Tree Farm are making bird feeders down at their farm. A great way to have fun and keep the little ones entertained during half term.
They aslo have Hunt, Crazy Golf, Christmas Scene set ups perfect for family Christmas card photos and Elves Treasure Hunt. 🎅🏌️‍♀️
... Open at 10am until 4pm from Sunday 28th October until 4th November.
Go take a look at their page for updates, info and directions. They are located only one minuets drive from #Hendrewennol

We are unfortunately, and very sadly, not going to be able to run our Halloween event this year. Sincere apologies for not advising sooner but we have, up until the last possible minute, tried to pull the event together - it is not to be however.
It is hugely frustrating for us and very disappointing for all the team here. I know many have asked and have been waiting for tickets to go on sale and we are very sorry to have not been able to say one way or the other until now.
We will post further in the coming days with regard to upcoming PYO Pumpkins W/e’s.

User

Thank you to everyone who called in this summer - we started in Mid May, closing last Sunday in mid September. Hendrewennol is now closed until the start of the pumpkin picking season. Those with tickets for the first weekend will be notified by email, we won't post on this stream again until we are open for general pumpkin picking. Any Hallowe'en ticket info will follow on this feed of course, as soon as it's available.

Yesterday was our 2nd visit and it definitely won't be the last! Such a lovely morning out with our little girl, there we're loads of stunning fresh strawberries and raspberries available to pick and we picked a punnet of each which only came to £6.50 in total!

An absolute bargain for the amount we had and the quality. The fruit is much nicer than shop bought!

Loved watching my daughter get excited when she found the "reddest" strawberry and the "biggest" raspberry!🍓🍓🍓

My daughter especially liked the bug hunt. 🐛🐝🐞🐌🦂🐜

All in all a lovely morning out for all ages!😁

Thank you all at Hendrewennol

Wow what can I say? Fields of fruit strawberries , raspberries, currants and blackberries too. Then there was the kiddies play area which was keeping lots of children happy with balloon modelling and more. Not done yet! Cafe with fresh sandwiches, drinks and ice cream too. Very well maintained. Entrance fee was £1.50 for adults and included punnets for their fruit and ££3.50 for the children which included punnets and entrance into the play area and a trail to find and stamp the cards. Yes toilets too and a car park. Fabulous time. One word of warning beware the horse riders along the narrow roadways.

User

Went up today with my two year old! Perfect for little ones to explore, lots of strawberry’s/raspberry’s to pick! The fruit is insanely tasty! So worth the price you pay for a punnet. I appreciate the hard work that you put into this place! Staff were very friendly/helpful. Only downside was I got stung by a bee definitely returning!

User

We visited here today for the first time, we got there nice and early for strawberries and raspberries. We had an amazing couple of hours and the kids loved it. I also didn’t think the pricing was over the top as the amount you could actually pick for your money compared to the amount you get in a shop bought tub was worth it.

The fruit also tastes amazing!! Can not wait to come back x

User

We visited for the first time yesterday, after wanting to find something a bit different to do with the kids. (3 year old and 5 month old) It’s a lovely lovely place to go! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the site was immaculate, and the fruit very reasonably priced. (We had a very large and full punnet of strawberries, which was still only just over £5!) fab garden for the kids to run around, with a sand pit, hay bales, and people making balloon characters. The cafe is very reasonably priced, and there’s ample parking and picnic benches to sit at for lunch. It’s all very pushchair friendly for the little ones, and was very well sign posted and easy to find!

Fantastic day out - it didn’t disappoint

We visited Hendrewennol for the first time today and were absolutely blown away with how amazing it was there. We can't believe we haven't visited sooner. Our two year old had the most amazing time and it was lovely to be able to show him where fruit comes from. We came away with punnets of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrents and were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the total cost was. Our little boy then had an incredible time playing in the fun-packed play area. To top it off, the staff were all extremely friendly and we learnt a lot about the ins and outs of running a successful fruit farm. We're very much looking forward to visiting again soon!

User

Visiting with family ages 5 to 70 and all enjoyed themselves. Picking the fruit was peaceful and no pushy staff or visitors even though the car park was almost full, the site is so nicely spaced out. The OAPs had as much fun, if not more, as the children completing the maze trail. My son tells me the fruit is far tastier than what we can get in the shops and wants us to go there for all our fruit. We'll be back again soon.

User

Today my daughter and I decided to do a mystery trip as a day out as the weather was so nice and we ended up at Hendrewennol Farm. What a super place to visit. As we were a bit late to pick strawberries today we had a lovely cup of tea, toasted sandwiches and the MOST DELICIOUS ICE CREAM EVER. Spoke to lovely staff at the farm who were most helpful. Bought a lovely jar of homemade honey and a Mexican jade plant . ( This really plased me as one I had which had lasted for 36 years which my dad had brought me had finally gone ). So I will start again with this one plus all money raised from the sale of the Jade goes directly to help Maggies the cancer support centre a great charity. Having lost my husband in October to this disease I do appreciate people raisn funds for these charities.

We'll be back again definitely to do some picking .

lovely place especially for families , make sure you visit.

User

The kids loved it staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh fruit ready for picking. Quite pricey I think but worth it for an afternoon out. Very much enjoyed!

User

Spent a lovely morning here picking strawberries 🍓 the facilities are excellent and the produce is delicious! Some of the fruit are under poly tunnels so it’s also ok to come along if it’s raining! It was also very easy to push a pram around the feilds which I wasn’t expecting!

User

Lovely place, plenty of fruit to pick & reasonable price. Lots to keep the little ones entertained and lots of space to eat/have picnics. Will definitely be returning!

User

Lovely morning spent at the fruit farm, took our 22 monthold and were a bit worried he might be too little to enjoy it but he LOVED it! Picked strawberries and raspberries, played in the sand pit, on the hay bales, slide and chess board and enjoyed a lovely ice cream! Would defo recommend!

User

Lovely day out with family and our 22 month old, he loved picking the strawberries and playing in the sand pit. You pay for what you get, a fun day out and delicious tasting strawberries and raspberries which are well worth the money and experience of picking your own. Lovely staff and easy to park. Had a brilliant time with our toddler and 18 month old. So much fun fruit picking, but also loved the bug hunt and playing on the slide and hay bails even in the rain! Plenty to see and do and good amount of shelter from the elements if needed.

User

Had a amazing time, all the staff were really friendly have genuinely happy to help you. They gave us some fab ideas on what we could do with it all.

Great day out.

We enjoyed ourselves and the fruit was delicious and was far superior in quality than supermarkets.

You do pay for what you get, the experience overall was very positve. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. We bought strawberry ice cream for our toddler and I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, him or myself .

First visit on Thursday & thoroughly enjoyed it together with my daughter & grandsons, took me back to when I used to go fruit picking with my parents & grandparents. Absolutely fantastic - we went today and had a fantastic time. Great value for money and what made it even more special was the manager - who took the time to notice I was sitting there with my dog and had no shelter from the rain- he took the time to make sure we had shelter when it started raining and chatted away telling us all about the amazing work you all do! We will definitely be back very soon!
