Hendy Cart Cottage (the Old Cart House) is a Grade II listed converted barn situated in a tranquil rural location near St David’s and close to the charming fishing village of Porthgain in the beautiful North Pembrokeshire countryside. It is a place where you can put the cares of the world behind you, where you can relax and enjoy this wonderfully unspoiled area.

The house is situated within very easy reach of stunning coastal scenery and beautiful beaches including Whitesands, Newgale and Traeth Llyfn. There are lots of ways to spend a wonderful holiday, including surfing, sailing, horse riding, climbing, fishing, cycling and boat trips to the world famous bird sanctuary islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Ramsey. The house is less than 15 minutes drive from the lovely cathedral city (in fact no more than a large village) of St David's with its restaurants and other amenities and only 5 minutes from the famous Sloop Inn, art galleries and renowned seafood restaurant, the Shed, by the harbour in Porthgain.

Hendy Cart has a 4 Star grading from Visit Wales and is furnished and equipped with everything to make your stay relaxed and enjoyable. The stone walled house is one of a small number of barns set around a large gravel courtyard and adjoining open countryside. It sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is finished to a very high standard with its original character retained while providing modern and comfortable facilities. The house has a secluded flower garden to the front of the house and a large garden to the side looking out over fields.

With lots in the area to appeal to both adults and children all year round, North Pembrokeshire is the perfect location for a relaxing, rewarding and fun holiday. Hendy Cart is superbly located to make the most of the area and is a superbly comfortable base in which to relax and to come back to at the end of an activity filled day.
