we have just spent 1 lovely night in a beautiful lodge. Staff are fab so friendly and make you very welcome. Set in a beautiful quiet spot its ideal for a break away. We had our own kitchen tv etc so it was like home from home. Hot tub was so nice and kids loved it highly recommend. We will definitely be back thank you ÔŅĹ

Would highly recommend, we came with our 7year old son as a birthday treat, we all had the best time, lovely views and peaceful, will definitely be returning my son didn’t want to leave.. thank you again.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay in I think it was mallard Lodge overlooking the top lake, it was fantastic so relaxing, just what we needed. Staff were really helpful, lodge was clean and modern, the stay could have been even better if everyone adhered to the no music or loud noise outside after 9.30pm as both evenings we had that with one particular lodge till gone 1230am, but other than that it was amazing, can't wait to come back thank you ÔŅĹ x

We arrived on Friday for a long weekend here, we stayed in the Quail lodge which was so cosy and well laid out. The hot tub was amazing and just topped off the weekend, I loved the fairy lights too! Beautiful surroundings and some walks nearby for the dog, we had food at the Dinorben Arms on Saturday (pre booked as dog friendly) which was lovely. Couldn’t have picked a better weekend for the weather - will definitely be returning. Thanks!

Stayed in the Red Kite Lodge for two nights and it wasn’t enough! Could have stayed for a month. The site is so peaceful. Hot tub was huge, with lights to put on at night and Bluetooth to play music through it. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, including washing machine, dishwasher, bbq utensils, etc. Large double bedroom with ensuite. Good sized 2nd bedroom with twin beds. Large decking area. Can’t fault the lodge or the site. Perfect break. Dog friendly too! Will definitely be returning!

Stayed here for the weekend in owl lodge. Lovely cabin, modern fittings and equipment, spacious comfortable and private. Loved the space we had for our dog to stroll about in on the front and and all loved our hot tub. Such a lovely setting and will definitely be returning .

Our stay was amazing the sky pod where we stayed was very clean and tidy had all the essentials.The scenery was just beautiful and peaceful the staff were brilliant and very helpful to meet your needs,it was also very romantic and will be going back as this is now a special place to us the hot tub was an added bonus and fantastic to relax we would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit,lots to do around the area too lovely places to eat out it was just perfect.

My partner and I have just returned from a two night stay here with our little girl. I can't recommend this place enough...serene, peaceful and utterly beautiful. We had such a relaxing break, a wonderful retreat surrounded by outstanding views with plenty to see and do nearby. It was delightful to be so excluded from the rest of the world for a few days! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will 100% be back!

We stayed in the skylark pod for 2 people and it was absolutely amazing brilliantly designed and Herons Lake Retreat is simply beautiful and set out fantastically. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we cant speak highly enough about this amazing place

My lovely girlfriend had booked this as a surprise for my 25th birthday this weekend. We came on Friday & stayed in the Quail lodge situated right next to the top lake. Great location & very roomy as well as cosy. Our hot tub was very private & the fairy lights surrounding area made for very good pictures with the lake in the background ÔŅĹ. There‚Äôs plenty to do in the area, and if you fancy a nice meal then I‚Äôd highly recommend the Piccadilly inn, we booked a table as it can get very busy but is definitely worth going. Staff are very helpful and welcoming

Literally just left our cabin, it was the wife’s birthday yesterday so spent the night in a pod, cosy,romantic and greatly priced! Absolutely loved it! If it wasn’t for getting back to the kids we would have stayed another night! Already recommended to friends and family and we will certainly be back!

Just got home after a amazing 2 night stay in lodge 7....it was absolutely amazing...We loved every minute of it and didn't want to come home....the lodge was perfect for the 2 of us and the hot tub was finishing touch...we will most definatly be returning...So peaceful and unwinding.

Just come home after a 2 night break at Herons Retreat and what a lovely time we had . I took my husband for his birthday and my 2 children (16 / 12yrs) and we had the most chilled and relaxing couple of days.

The hot tub was amazing.

We paid extra for the early check in and check out and that made it. No rushing at all. Just a lovely break and we can't wait to come back xx

Just back from a gorgeous 2 night break with my boyfriend.

Stayed in a Quail lodge ( number 23 ) which had a lake view, absolutely superb and just what we needed. Had a delicious evening meal at The Piccadilly Inn pub down the road ( Best Fish, chips and mushy peas I‚Äôve ever had) on night two, took full advantage of the BBQ hire and just chilled out in our Hot tub. We had a great time and will defiantly be back. Will also be recommending this to any of my customers wanting a uk break ÔŅĹ

We were really looking forward to a two night stay which was costly at over £600+ We were not given a log cabin but put into a very tired and poorly maintained property which had no WiFi, no mirrors in beds or bathrooms, bags of cement and Paving stones dumped in the garden, grass was not cut, cushions had been left out and were wet so we could not

Sit outside first night, ancient fairly lights next to the hot tub that did not work and no fence between our garden and public pathway so absolutely no privacy. The interior furniture as very old and one mattress was so bent in the middle it was barley useable. Oven took hours to heat up. This particular property

Is very close to adjoining neighbours properties ( not owned by site) who banged on the fence next to the hot tub demanding us to be quiet. Apparently there is a problem between owners and neighbors with this property. The staff were lovely although we requested a call from the management or owners of the herons lake retreat non has been forthcoming so clearly not bothered at

Just come home after a 2 night break at Herons Retreat and what a lovely time we had . I took my husband for his birthday and my 2 children (16 / 12yrs) and we had the most chilled and relaxing couple of days.

The hot tub was amazing.

We had breath taking veiws and just peice and tranquillity

I couldn't recommend you enough.

We paid extra for the early check in and check out and that made it. No rushing at all. Just a lovely break and we can't wait to come back xx

Just come back from a truly unforgettable weekend at Herons Retreat. Would definitely without question recommend the park is very tranquil with lovely views and the lodges are just perfect with private hot tubs. I can not wait for my next visit. Well done herons retreat.

Just back from a gorgeous 2 night break with my boyfriend.

Stayed in a Quail lodge ( number 23 ) which had a lake view, absolutely superb and just what we needed. Had a delicious evening meal at The Piccadilly Inn pub down the road ( Best Fish, chips and mushy peas I‚Äôve ever had) on night two, took full advantage of the BBQ hire and just chilled out in our Hot tub. We had a great time and will defiantly be back. Will also be recommending this to any of my customers wanting a uk break ÔŅĹ

We were really looking forward to a two night stay which was costly at over £600+ We were not given a log cabin but put into a very tired and poorly maintained property which had no WiFi, no mirrors in beds or bathrooms, bags of cement and Paving stones dumped in the garden, grass was not cut, cushions had been left out and were wet so we could not

Sit outside first night, ancient fairly lights next to the hot tub that did not work and no fence between our garden and public pathway so absolutely no privacy. The interior furniture as very old and one mattress was so bent in the middle it was barley useable. Oven took hours to heat up. This particular property

Is very close to adjoining neighbours properties ( not owned by site) who banged on the fence next to the hot tub demanding us to be quiet. Apparently there is a problem between owners and neighbors with this property. The staff were lovely although we requested a call from the management or owners of the herons lake retreat non has been forthcoming so clearly not bothered at

we have just spent 1 lovely night in a beautiful lodge. Staff are fab so friendly and make you very welcome. Set in a beautiful quiet spot its ideal for a break away. We had our own kitchen tv etc so it was like home from home. Hot tub was so nice and kids loved it highly recommend. We will definitely be back thank you ÔŅĹ

Would highly recommend, we came with our 7year old son as a birthday treat, we all had the best time, lovely views and peaceful, will definitely be returning my son didn’t want to leave.. thank you again.

We've just returned from a 2 night stay in I think it was mallard Lodge overlooking the top lake, it was fantastic so relaxing, just what we needed. Staff were really helpful, lodge was clean and modern, the stay could have been even better if everyone adhered to the no music or loud noise outside after 9.30pm as both evenings we had that with one particular lodge till gone 1230am, but other than that it was amazing, can't wait to come back thank you ÔŅĹ x

We arrived on Friday for a long weekend here, we stayed in the Quail lodge which was so cosy and well laid out. The hot tub was amazing and just topped off the weekend, I loved the fairy lights too! Beautiful surroundings and some walks nearby for the dog, we had food at the Dinorben Arms on Saturday (pre booked as dog friendly) which was lovely. Couldn’t have picked a better weekend for the weather - will definitely be returning. Thanks!

Stayed in the Red Kite Lodge for two nights and it wasn’t enough! Could have stayed for a month. The site is so peaceful. Hot tub was huge, with lights to put on at night and Bluetooth to play music through it. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped, including washing machine, dishwasher, bbq utensils, etc. Large double bedroom with ensuite. Good sized 2nd bedroom with twin beds. Large decking area. Can’t fault the lodge or the site. Perfect break. Dog friendly too! Will definitely be returning!

Stayed here for the weekend in owl lodge. Lovely cabin, modern fittings and equipment, spacious comfortable and private. Loved the space we had for our dog to stroll about in on the front and and all loved our hot tub. Such a lovely setting and will definitely be returning .

Our stay was amazing the sky pod where we stayed was very clean and tidy had all the essentials.The scenery was just beautiful and peaceful the staff were brilliant and very helpful to meet your needs,it was also very romantic and will be going back as this is now a special place to us the hot tub was an added bonus and fantastic to relax we would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit,lots to do around the area too lovely places to eat out it was just perfect.

My partner and I have just returned from a two night stay here with our little girl. I can't recommend this place enough...serene, peaceful and utterly beautiful. We had such a relaxing break, a wonderful retreat surrounded by outstanding views with plenty to see and do nearby. It was delightful to be so excluded from the rest of the world for a few days! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will 100% be back!

My partner and I booked a last minute break and have just returned after a truly wonderful weekend. We stayed in the skylark pod for 2 people and it was absolutely amazing brilliantly designed and Herons Lake Retreat is simply beautiful and set out fantastically. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we cant speak highly enough about this amazing place

My lovely girlfriend had booked this as a surprise for my 25th birthday this weekend. We came on Friday & stayed in the Quail lodge situated right next to the top lake. Great location & very roomy as well as cosy. Our hot tub was very private & the fairy lights surrounding area made for very good pictures with the lake in the background ÔŅĹ. There‚Äôs plenty to do in the area, and if you fancy a nice meal then I‚Äôd highly recommend the Piccadilly inn, we booked a table as it can get very busy but is definitely worth going. Staff are very helpful and welcoming

Literally just left our cabin, it was the wife’s birthday yesterday so spent the night in a pod, cosy,romantic and greatly priced! Absolutely loved it! If it wasn’t for getting back to the kids we would have stayed another night! Already recommended to friends and family and we will certainly be back!

Just got home after a amazing 2 night stay in lodge 7....it was absolutely amazing...We loved every minute of it and didn't want to come home....the lodge was perfect for the 2 of us and the hot tub was finishing touch...we will most definatly be returning...So peaceful and unwinding.
