Absolutely stunning views and location. And staff are just brilliant. And the cabins are really nice. Wanted to take the hot tub home.
Just got back from a week in the woodpecker VIP lodge and really enjoyed my time, on arrival to the lodge there was a little box of chocolates and small bottle of champagne, all the beds not only had a chocolate on them but also bath robes, these small touches make a huge differnece in my view as it shows that the owners have thought about their paying visitors, we went with our 2 young boys who enjoyed the little swings and slide in the middle, also they liked the Xbox which is another nice touch, the hot tub was lovely and was checked every morning. We used the BBQ which was great, there is a lot to do in the area, we visited a few castles and caves which were great even for my children. Now as a balance I would like to make a few suggestions, these suggestions in know way ruined our holiday and I am being a little picky if I'm honest, the battery's in most remote controllers and Xbox controllers were empty, luckily I happened to have a box of spares in my car so not a massive issue for me but could have been if I did not have the battery's, we are asked when we leave to strip all the beds and put the linen inside the pillow cases, this bothered me more than it should probably but I just spend £900 on the lodge and it did slightly tint our last day as it's not something I personally would expect to have to do, I may well be wrong :). None of these things would stop me staying here again though, also I did not mention these issues to the manager who was brilliant and may well have sorted it out so as said, take this criticism with a pinch of salt.

Absolutely brilliant, can't fault the place, everything you need in self catering accommodation , Steve the manager is available 24/7, not that we needed him, they have thought of everything! just brilliant!
Lodges are spotless with amazing hot tub. Staff are really friendly and helpful too👍
