If self isolation comes into force for those over the age of 70 years and those with underlying health conditions we will have to close as my mum who lives with us is 86 years old. Now the election is over Julie and I would like to wish all of our guest old and new a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year

Following a major operation at the Heath Cardiff in the summer Julie is now doing very well, improving with every week that passes. She has gone through a hard couple of years so we are now looking forward to better times.

The roses here at Highfield have now started to bloom

although we are in for a colder Bank Holiday weekend flowers in the garden have started to show themselves and the permanent guest are still here eating away.

A new addition to Highfield should make us easy to find, look out for the butterfly.
