Today's lemon cake. Also in the spirit of veganuary Iain made some vegan cheese with soya curd ,cashew nuts,chickpea and a few other secret ingredients .

My homemade sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream!

A selection of today s meals,sea bass ,sirloin steaks with peppercorn sauce ,Turkey leek and ham pie,chicken tandoori masala ,fillet of salmon .Not forgetting my Victoria sponge .

fab service we were late as well for breakfast ( some places would sorry too late ) not these guys nothing was a problem, (great new york attitude) lol food arrived fab hot plates yahoo great start large pot of tea and coffee arrived piping hot enough to go straight through till you got your fresh cooked breakfast, The food was very well presented and just about managed to get through it. All the food was very good and doorstop black pudding cooked perfectly, so glad i turned van around to take a chance what a great choice, two pieces of homemade cake to go. thanks to them both very welcoming lovely people.

Wonderful home made chicken, ham & leek pie!! With fresh vegetables & triple cooked chips - the best ever! Really great place to dine! Very lucky to have this nearby, great service & selection of foods. Can't wait to go back!

Went here yesterday with my wife and daughter after recommendations off a friend, what an outstanding meal the steak is one of the best around and the burgers are amazing. We'll be visiting again very soon Thank you. Highly recommend

We had seen this place on Trip Advisor and had planned to visit. We took a walk along the rocks before walking up for lunch. Lovely area and views.

"Fantastic Food" just about covers it. I had Home roasted ham with egg and chips and it was honestly the best Ham I've ever had and really thickly cut too.. The missus had a bacon and brie melt which I can say was fantastic cos I managed to sneak a bite whilst she was sorting the boy out. The boy had a children's sausage and chips which can't have been bad as he never left anything on the plate.

£6.99 for a fresh cooked breakfast with lashings of tea or coffee all in a quaint and qwerty building. 👍

Have to say I've ate a lot of lunches over the years, but literally had one of the best today! Will definitely be coming again and spreading the word!

The food was cooked fresh to order and could tell the chief is passionate about flavours and presentation, both him and his wife came out to ask if everything was OK and to say hi. The sea view and sunset added to our wonderful food, Will definitely be going back. X

Another superb Sunday lunch & excellent value too...still haven't had room to try the puddings - maybe next time! �

After "losing" Iain and Hilary when they left the Laleston Inn, I was really excited to find them again here. We had an amazing meal on Saturday night, probably the best meal since the Laleston days !! I had mushrooms in a creamy garlic and Stilton sauce (a meal in itself) followed by a perfect pork loin steak in a delicious peppercorn sauce with vegetables and home made chips, all for only £10.99 !! The house red was a very good merlot and was only £4.50 for a large glass. The restaurant itself is lovely, bistro-style, small and intimate. I cannot recommend it all strongly enough, and can't wait to go back !!
