Hillfort Tipis And Camping

A group of 4 of us stayed for the weekend at Hillfort Tipis.
Where to start I guess, we arrived to breathtaking scenery of the coast and on top of the hill were some impressive mountains of stone. Very peaceful and tranquil. The Yurts were awesome, I think I even asked John could we rent one permanently :P
The hosts John and Katy were amazing! Very very welcoming and nothing was an issue. By the end of the weekend they felt more like friends! Top location, top accomdation and top hosts!

Brilliant campsite. We took a camper van up there and parked in one of the sheltered spots on the hill surrounded by gorse and in the shadow of the beautiful rocky outcrops. The campsite was quiet and relaxing .. would love to try one of the yurts next time. The owner was friendly and funny and couldn't do enough to make sure everyone was happy. Showers were basic in a converted horse box but clean and hot ... I'd definitely go back. The stars were amazing !

Blowing a gale, chucking it down. Still the best campsite I've visited (and I've visited a fair few). Very relaxed place, probably because of the bloke that runs it (who was great). The views here are absolutely outstanding.

Beautiful campsite! The terrain is quite big but only hosts a dozen or so tents. Wide views and open space make camping here truly an outdoor experience. Camp owner johnny is very helpful and provided us with fire wood, beer, chicken and good conversation. We definitely recommend staying here while visiting Pembrokeshire!

Hillfort Tipis is the BEST campsite I have ever visited! It is absolutely the most beautiful part of Wales, the campsite is never ending green fields, and hills overlooking a stunning coastline - the sunset/sunrise was incredible! John is an amazing host and really made our stay very memorable and very special... Hillfort Tipis deserves a visit just to meet John! Will definitely be visiting again - thank you for a fantastic weekend!

Amazing place to camp the views from the top is just incredible and mesmerising...we would have been dead if John wasn't there.. he is so far the best owner we have ever met on campsite. He just made our camping more fun and wild.

We will be coming back. I will recommend this place to everyone. Not to be missed.

Amazing experience here last year, was a beautiful location and really enjoyed having the opportunity to have a real campfire and appreciated the little extras and provisions provided by the staff. Would highly recommend this location as a fantastic rural camping experience, very family orientated and the kids loved it!

Lovely campsite. Beautiful location with superb sunsets and John is a great host. He does everything to make your holiday a wonderful experience. The facilities are indeed not the most luxurious ones, but they are clean and free (instead of other campsites where you have to pay for hot showers, charging your mobile, etc). Fridge, freezer and kettle are very handy!! Will definitely come back again..

This place was a perfect get away in a beautiful location!! Stayed for one week in a yurt! It was amazing and our three boys enjoyed all the space to run about with fellow little campers!!! John the owner goes above and beyond working relentlessly to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable!!! Thank you guys for a lovely stay x

Cannot recommend highly enough!! The location is second none, the facilities excellent and will be coming back again next summer! The cliff walk route is a couple of minutes away and the scenery is incredible. John was an amazing host, if you are lucky he will whip you up a sauce to go with your steak which will blow your socks off!! There was nothing too much trouble for him and was unlike any other campsite I have ever been to we were made to feel very special. Thank you for having us from Huw and Anna
