Holiday Inn Express Newport

A recent incident left hundreds of workers (and nursery kids) stuck outside on a cold winter’s day. This Holiday Inn took them in and kept them warm and safe until the matter was resolved. Well done to you all.

First night stay, we arrived late, staff friendly. Nice comfortable room in a quiet part of the hotel. Nice & full after breakfast ready to start our day out in Cardiff.

Serviceable. Bed was fine with nice pillows and decent shower. Room was clean, quiet and dark at night. Breakfast was adequate, although the coffee and juice were a bit subpar. Free paper appreciated.

Clean, modern, has everything you need. Excellent friendly staff. I not only stayed the night but also attended a course. Unlimited beverages whilst on the course!

Arrived to a warm welcome. Hotel lounge and eating large and uncrowded.

Bedroom typical Holiday Inn but felt fresh and newer than others I have stayed at. It also had its own individual air-conditioning unit and no shower curtain but a glass sliding door - much better!

Overall pleasant stay and would come back.

Loads of parking and large open an dining area for the breakfast. Bed was comfortable and room had A/C.

Always clean and tidy rooms. Although not booked specifically, I was able to get a ground floor rooms due to mobility problems. Have stayed here several times before and always enjoyed the stay.

Friendly polite staff, that go the extra mile to make you feel warm and welcome when staying there. I would recommend this hotel not just for its location, but for its staffs expertise

Exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Clean rooms, friendly staff, a decent breakfast. A bit out of the way for Newport but ideal for the business park it sits on. My hotel of choice in Newport.
