The place looked a mess I don't think I will rush to go back there
No staff on the shop floor to help customers

Very helpful staff but the shop is a mess. Room has had to be found for the Christmas trees which is fine if that's what you're looking for. But if you are looking for a bathroom mirror then you may be expected to climb over packages and boxes. Not good.

Friendly staff, everything we needed for our house and so many free plants to takeaway! Great homebase.

Called in Sat 30th Oct 17, worst shopping experience ever will never rrturn. Used to be a store I loved shopping in bought a few items. Got to check out no staff staff member called 3 times for staff eventually after 15 mins a young man appeared Johnathan no apology there were 6 customers waiting to be served. When I was served price was wrong assistant disinterested just said do you want the items or not ! I paid stormed out of the store never to return. Don't use this store if you can help it customer service is all time low. I used to be a loyal homebase customer never again.

On the morning of Tuesday 8th August 2017, we saw aisles littered untidily with boxes and random goods e.g. Christmas tree decorations. There was a pile of garden chairs (higher than head height) teetering as it rested against another pile of something in the next aisle. It looked dangerous. Poor choice of wall tiles. Expensive glue. The only staff to be seen were messing about in the doorway like children, making childish noises. There was spilt coffee on the floor in the walkway between two of the tills, near the Customer Services desk. No-one seemed to be rushing to clean up this slip hazard.
It looked like a closing down free-for-all except that the customers weren't staying to buy. There's no excuse for this, even if it is closing down. Won't be going back.

Big Homebase. Good sale on. Parking and customer loo...a bit ropey but it was useable. Friendly Staff.

Enjoy Home base every thing you want there staff are helpfull and very pleasent. They have a good assortment of plants which are reasonably priced.its getting to be my favourite shop thank you Home based
