SOLD MORE RECORDS THAN HMV!
The demand for vinyl out our charity shop continues to grow. We have had a crazy response to our vinyl display at the front of our store. Over £700 of records sold this week...Because of this we are now running very low on stock..
So, please climb those attic stairs, clear out those hidden gems tucked away in the garage, or simply declutter your collection and make way for some new LP's.....Whatever you do, we are hoping you will donate your unwan...ted vinyl albums (or singles) to Hope Rescue so we can continue this amazingly successful event.
Thank you again for all your amazing donations. Without your support we would not be able to help the Rescue Centre continue their desperately needed work. We appreciate each and every item we get into store. You're all awesome!

TOP 10 WAYS TO HELP A HOPE RESCUE DOG IN 2019 - #10 ADOPT
Arguably, the best way to help a rescue dog is to welcome them into your family. It's a truly rewarding experience and we know that you will get much more out than the effort that you put in.
Whilst we do have some basic adoption criteria, they are guidelines as opposed to blanket policies. We try to be flexible to match the needs of the individual dog and the suitability of the home offered. Each dog will have its ow...n specific requirements for a new home and this will be detailed in their adoption information.
For details of the dogs currently available for adoption, please click the Dogs tab above and for more information about the adoption process, please read at http://www.hoperescue.org.uk/dogs/adoptin g-a-hope-rescue-dog.

TOP 10 WAYS TO HELP A RESCUE DOG IN 2019 - #9 TAKE ON A NEW CHALLENGE
Take on the challenge of a lifetime and skydive for Hope! A tandem skydive is the ideal first jump – you will experience the thrill of freefall and enjoy a high performance canopy ride whilst attached to a fully qualified instructor.
You will be jumping from up to 12,000 feet. It takes around 15 minutes for the aircraft to reach altitude so you will have time to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. You w...ill be freefalling at 120mph for about 45 seconds. Your instructor will deploy the parachute by 5,000 feet. The parachute has dual controls so you can aid the instructor by spiralling the parachute around the sky. All in all it is an experience guaranteed to take your breath away.

TOP 10 WAYS TO HELP A RESCUE DOG IN 2019 - #8 SHARE SHARE SHARE
We use social media to keep our supporters up to date with our work and to promote the dogs who are currently looking for new homes. Some of our dogs move into new homes within a matter of weeks, whilst some have a longer wait for their forever family.
We believe in the power of social media to help to find the perfect home for each of our dogs, so why not share a post or two to help?

ROOM GLORIOUS ROOM.
Here is our new layout at the Charity Shop. As you can see it has created a much larger, more customer friendly, shopping environment. Including a far more family friendly kids area. We now have room for 3 extra clothes rails and even more shoes, all these things mean hopefully more money going back to the centre to help the things we love most, our four (or sometimes three) legged friends.
Thanks you again to Jade, Claire, Linda and Amy for all their help yesterday.

TOP 10 WAYS TO HELP A RESCUE DOG IN 2019 - #7 CLEAR OUT YOUR CLUTTER
We have an amazing charity shop with a difference in Pontypridd. Thanks to funding from Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC and the Welsh Church Act, our shop has been transformed following a major refurbishment and has earned the nickname of “the poshest shop in Ponty”.
Our shop sells everything from dog treats and toys, clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories, to books, DVDs, housewares, small furniture, electrical it...ems and children’s toys. We also have a dog-friendly coffee shop selling a selection of hot and cold drinks and delicious cakes.
We would be grateful for donations of good quality items that we can sell, especially seasonal clothing, good quality shoes, modern fiction books and children's toys.
The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9-5. The address is 77 Taff Street, Pontypridd CF37 4SU. Parking is available on the street outside the shop before 11a.m. (drop off only) and after 3pm, otherwise there are public car parks close by. THANK YOU GUYS!!
We would like to thank Dan Jenkins photography for their generous donation of £200 today.
In November we ran a mini photo shoot in the store, with Hope receiving a percentage of the sales from the event. It was an amazing evening in the store and all customers were extremely pleased with their framed canvasses.
... We will be looking at running other similar events in the near future so please keep an eye out on our facebook page if you’d be interested in taking part.
Thanks again Dan and Nic for giving up your time and services, we can’t wait for the next one!
