Horeb United Reformed Church, Dyserth Description

Horeb is a congregation of the United Reformed Church which meets in Capel Dyserth Chapel, High Street, Dyserth.

The church meets for worship every Sunday morning at 9. 30am. Worship is led on alternate weeks by the minister, Revd David Salsbury, and by a small pool of lay preachers and retired ministers on the other weeks. The services are normally relaxed and informal in style with a combination of hymns, Bible readings, prayers and a sermon which all help the congregation to hear what God is saying and follow him in our daily lives.
We also hold occasional services for All Ages as well as festival services for Christmas, Easter, Harvest etc.

Horeb has about 15 children of all ages involved in the life of the church. On Sunday mornings the services start with children and adults worshipping together before the children go into their mixed age groups to follow a similar theme to the adults.

In addition, the teenagers meet on alternate Friday evenings during term time for FURY (Fellowship of United Reformed Youth). This is a time for meeting friends, socialising and having fun doing a variety of different activities.
