What a lovely little gem in Treorchy. Called in to the vino and vinyl event and stayed for lunch. Treorchy and Hot Gossip will definitely see me again. �

Wanted somewhere to go for afternoon tea and this was a lovely place. Great variety of sandwiches and cakes. Was the cheapest around I've seen and was great quality. Will definatly be coming back. 100% recommend.

Visited for the first time with friends on Saturday for tea-pot cocktails!!! Very friendly! Fab atmosphere,loved it! We will defo be back x

Top quality food and coffee, friendly and professional service- what more could you want for a coffee shop? Highly recommended.

Today, Tuesday 6th March saw the Society meeting with Alun Jones of ITV regarding a program in the making in which the Rhondda Tunnel Society will take part.

My thank to Les and Sue for manning the shop, Shay Fisher For being my PA for the meeting, for being a runner.,. Shay you are a superstar, well done mate. Finally to 'HOT GOSSIP' for hosting us as they usually do. Hot Gossip Licensed Coffee Shop

Lovely place to relax, unwind have something to eat and drink and just have a good catch up with your mates. Suitable for all ages. Reasonably priced menu, cakes and drinks including alcoholic beverages.

Loved it, tasty cakes, lovely coffee and hot chocolate. Lots of space to relax and unwind.

Love this place, love the ambiance, love the food, love everything about it. I won't go anywhere else. Visit this place and you won't be disappointing. Don't understand why the odd person has giving it a low star- probably just an awkward customer. Ignore it and try it for yourself

I go there every Saturday and normally in the week at least once! Great place! Friendly staff! Help to accommodate for the needs of myself and other family members and friends!



For my mothers anniversary we booked the upstairs out, as one of my family has celiac disease and is allergic to gluten Sara helped too accommodate her with a meal that didn't include gluten along with myself who is allergic to nuts and eggs! Staff were very welcoming, would defiantly return and happily praise the staff for all their hard work along with the management

I called into Hot Gossip for a cuppa tea after wandering around Treorchy. I was really impressed inside. Tables were full with appetising plates of food. The place was very clean and decorated with Autumn colours. I decided to have a sandwich as well. I was offered white or brown. My food arrived. Sandwiches were cut into quarters with a side salad. Again, really impressed. The atmosphere was nice. Staff were friendly and so welcoming. I could have stayed longer. What I did like, the tables are cleared away as soon as a customer left. I will certainly go to Hot Gossip again. Thank you

Hi Sara, as you know, We've been coming to Hot Gossip since it has opened, you run a friendly, clean welcoming place and your staff are great, we haven't got a negative word to say about you all and as parents of 2 children, one being a disabled teenager who has also been with us and on her own with her friends, you have been wonderful accommodating our daughters needs, as she's in a wheelchair.

You are wonderful and have a caring family and have helped us so much with the Charity night, to raise funds for our daughter!

We can't thank your family enough! Xxx

Great coffee shop!

The interior is nice and tastefully decorated, there is a good number of tables although this place is so popular it is a bit of a gamble on getting a table. You can reserve tables though which I feel is very good.



The staff are friendly, kind and helpful, I have no complaints.



The food and coffee is great, excellent value and well priced, the food is tasty and delicious and the coffee is just perfect.



Hot Gossip has to be the best coffee shop in Treorchy/Upper Rhondda Valley! :)

I come to Treorchy with my other half, just to visit this place and I've yet to have anything that hasn't been excellent. I don't know what they put in their coleslaw but it's just awesome.

A cafe on the High Street with a good food and friendly atmosphere. There are "specials" on the menu every day. It is a very popular place with visitors and locals. I recommend the omelette and the corned beef pie. Both delicious.

Changed my review gave the place a second chance food lovely service not the best tho we were forgotten about and had a very long wait but that being said the young gentleman that was serving made up for it. A credit to the place!! Happy and smiling lad hopefully he can rub off of the older staff there who seemed afraid to smile

Table was reserved and accommodating. Not very obvious you need to order at the till and then table service. Left to enjoy the purchase which was very fresh and what was asked for. Does not take card payments - this needs advertising although plenty of cash points around.

Not very welcoming and made us feel rushed. Left at 4.40 cos they made us feel we were in the way and that they couldn't wait to close. Very disappointing

What a disappointment � A regular customer had recommended Hot Gossip for a cuppa and a bite to eat on a planned visit with my Mam to Treorchy. Looking forward to refreshments, after doing a little shopping, myself and my Mam went into the Cafe and pulled up two seats at a vacant table, on doing so a very rude woman, a member of staff, pounced on us and rudely growled at us that the table was not available as she had somebody waiting for it. She quickly ushered us out of the way with no apology or offer of another table. We swiftly left this very rude woman and exited the shop. Needless to say we shall not return �
