House Of Fraser Cardiff

Used to work here a interesting fact the building is made up of more than one buildings from over the years past. In the middle of the building is a disused church that is hidden in behind a fake wall, the place itself is not visible only a stone peice in the ground floor section. As it stands now as been open many years and now mostly consists of concessions as aposed to all house of Fraser products. Bit of cool history quite a historic set of buildings.

I go here with my parents for food in the morning when I'm back in Cardiff. The café isn't too bad, but little vegetarian choice & no vegan options that I'm aware of. The restaurant on the to floor is the same in terms of both vegetarian & very options.

Large, rambling, department store offering good quality goods right in the centre of Cardiff. Great for mooching around on a shopping day. Look out for the local market a few doors away in one direction, the quaint arcades in the surrounding area and the open air cafe in the small square that it backs on to.

Recently bought a sofa and armchair from this store it was a great experience,most helpful informative
Sales man,gave great advice.Was told 6 weeks delivery but after 3 weeks was contacted to say my furniture was ready.Delivered one week later by two great delivery men,put my furniture in place helped me check it and took away all packaging.
All in all very glad I used your store to buy my new furniture highly recommended.

I ordered 2 leather sofas on April 22nd & was told they would take 10 weeks to arrive. At 10 weeks the furniture assistant rang me up & said there was a problem with delivery & they would be another 7 weeks. We planned our house warming for a couple of weeks after this date. However, the sofas have still not been delivered & our house warming guests had to stand up all afternoon. I rang the furniture department to clarify when the sofas would be delivered & I have now been told it will be the end of September! I was far from happy & asked to speak to the furniture manager & was told he would ring me back. He did not bother. Not at all happy with the service from the furniture department of this prestigious store.

Sure this lovely old building will be converted to flats as the owners are living in the retail past.

Don`t be taken in by vouchers, spend £50 get £10 off! Read the very faint, small print on the back. After gathering my various beauty products the till refused my vouchers because it stipulates that it cannot be used on beauty. I then had the embarrassment of returning all my items. May I suggest House of Fraser that you inform your staff to tell customers when they hand these vouchers out and also put it on the front of the voucher where there is more than enough room.
i see this as flagrant misrepresentation.

Staff very helpful and polite. Layout good. Love shopping there.

I find it a super store, I always find the cloths that I like plus the store is a bit posher than the others in town.
I mostly like it because our family always shopped there when I was young, (now 73) all other stores are much later. You have staying power. Good..
