HowTheLightGetsIn is the festival where the world's leading thinkers come together to debate the most cutting edge ideas of our time.

A unique festival of ideas and music hosted by The Institute of Art and Ideas, HowTheLightGetsIn is the only festival on the planet where you can mingle with Nobel Prize winners and dance to the sounds of Mercury Prize nominees all in one space. Join us at next year's festival from 22nd-25th May 2020 for a magical programme of talks, debates, live music, poetry, comedy and art.
