Portions were huge. Really friendly and helpful staff. Food quality was average but for the money you pay its good.

It's ok. Could be managed better i.e. when you order desert maybe having staff clean your table and then serve your pudding rather having to ask for it. As for kids running around as previously mentioned in a review... it is a family place with a play area so...?? Staff are friendly enough.

Got a table & served quickly, the food was lovely, reasonable prices especially as we went on a Sunday.
We had a sharing sundae for dessert, didn't get any cookies in it & only 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream instead of four, but what we had was lovely, didn't mention it as the staff were really busy & doing their best.
Recommended for families, couples & disabled, as it's all on the level.
Can get very busy so avoid peak times.

Waited an hour for a table which we didn't mind as we didn't pre-book but the the food took nearly an hour to arrive and was cold. Rude staff! Unorganized.. items that were stated on the menu were missing from the plate and then when I asked the staff I was simply told that they had run out. I would not of ordered half a meal knowingly. Upon complaining I was not even granted an apology and because the bill was paid upfront there was no mention of a refund for the meals that were missing items. They just told me to complain via hungry horse website and gave me a false email, I did also email hungry horse and have not had a response. I've ate at many hungry horses and it's always a pleasant experience but the harbour is the worst food establishment I've ever ate in. Unorganized Chaos. I've tried it twice in and out of season and it's a joke.

It's.well... Not the worst.... The food is nice and staff and hard working.... Just is always far too full with kids running wild and being noisy little F******!!! Attracts a very very chavvy crowd. Waiting times for a table are usually 40 minutes with serving times another 30 mins on top of that.

Couldn't order what we wanted from the menu and the quality was average!, Staff were polite enough though.

Visited here with my partner, and I have to say I could not recommend this place for food which is a shame as I generally enjoy visits to hungry horse pubs.

Our meals where severely under cooked, I ordered a mixed grill, the egg was semi-raw, the gammon was as though it had been taken from the fridge flash fried and put on the plate!. In fact the only thing they managed to cook well was the steak which is ironic as I wanted that medium rare.

Another let down was that when we first arrived a waiter brought a bucket of cutlery over which still had food, not merely poorly cleaned but actual chunks of food on the cutlery, when we confronted a waiter about the cutlery we was met with the most horrific attitude you could imagine almost as if we had left him feeling aggrieved.

So to sum up.

Bad attitude of staff, poor service, food was terrible and under cooked potentially even a health hazard. Will not be visiting again.

Absolutely terrible!!

Out of 4 meals, 3 were wrong.

We asked for 2 rare steaks and they came our well done. We also ordered normal chicken skewers and sweet potato fries, we got southern fried chicken and ordinary chips.

They changed the meals but brought out the sweet potato fries before the chicken so they were cold by the time it arrived.

The second steaks they brought out were also over cooked.

I would not recommend this place and I will certainly not be retuning.

Good food at good prices. Kids love the play rooms.
Called again recently and walked out. Made a reservation. Shown to a dirty table on arriving. Waiting in line for 15mins to order to be told thongs were out of stock on the theme night. We went over the road and got fabulous service and food.
