What do we do?
Children's Choir (age 8-17 years) based in Llanelli, South Wales
Broadcast experience?
The choir is no stranger to international media exposure with television and radio broadcasts given throughout Wales, the United Kingdom and also national broadcasts recorded in Russia, Poland, The Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Spain together with a televised performance for “Eurovision” from Belgrade televised to millions of viewers throughout the whole of Europe. The achievements of the choir and its founder John Hywel Williams MBE have also been a feature of an international television documentary broadcast around the world and seen by a staggering 400 million people.
Our Performances?
With performances spanning the UK, East and Western Europe and North America, memorable performances are too numerous to mention but would include a BBC recorded performance at Russia’s largest and premier concert hall namely the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, The Arad Opera House in Romania, an audience with His Holy Father Pope John Paul II at The Vatican to an audience of over 40, 000 people, The House of Artists in Prague, The Brangwyn Festival in Ostende, the prestigious Prague Spring Festival, The Russian House of Friendship Moscow, the magnificent Waldstein Gardens Prague, St. Paul’s Cathedral London Ontario, the Cesar Franck Festival Bruges, performances for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, representing Great Britain at the Joy of Europe Festival in Yugoslavia, the Castle Pomeranian Princes Poland, the CN Tower Toronto, St. David’s Hall Cardiff, the Royal Festival Hall London and repeated performances at the Royal Albert Hall London… to name but a few.

Embrace Christmas is fabulous style at the ever popular Christmas Fantasia with the acclaimed international broadcast voices of the HYWEL GIRLS' CHOIR & HYWEL BOY SINGERS, stars of ITV's Britain's Got Talent ANGELICUS CELTIS, the symphonic sounds of the wonderful British Sinfonietta, the magic of organist Huw Tregelles Williams and beloved pianist Jane Jewell, orchestral percussionist Gareth Hamlin, Jeremy Hywel as the Voice of Christmas - and all under the baton of the legendary John Hywel Williams.

They deserve the full five stars because choristers aattending as many services and lessons on top of school and stuff means that awesome groups such as Angelicus Celtis can form. Last night's BGT was emotional and SMASHING at the same time :) :-D
Their voices are heavenly. They move this 72 year old man to tears.
Spirit of Music with Aled Jones was a fantastic performance, and has convinced me to try and get to more shows.

Performing with celebrities such as Katherine Jenkins. A standing ovation at the Royal Wales Festival of Remembrance. Filming for Channel 4 for Christmas Day. Filming for Christmas Eve on BBC Breakfast News. A fabulous Christmas Fantasia with the British Sinfonietta... the list goes on... Super choristers. Super conductor. John Hywel - you are an inspiration!

I love the choir they're all lovely and awesomely prepared for singing on stage and I am pleased to be a part of that.
I have always marvelled at the professionalism of the children in this organisation
Saturday was no exception with the whole group giving a performance that many professionals would love to achieve ! Congratulations and may your future continue to the same high standard as you now display.
Hard work juggling school and all the practices and the main shows
As being a member it is a truly memorable experience and great to be in with the fun of Jeremy, John and Jean in rhearals and concerts.
Amazing voices and hearts of gold dropping off eggs to the staff in prince Phillip today. Made so many staffs days xx
ANOTHER absolutely stunningly entertaining and joyous concert last night in Ffwrness Theatre, Llanelli! All performers were fantastic, but, of course, the Hywel girls and boys jingled everyone's bells (sorry... it was a Christmas celebration and sound effects included jingling bells...!).
