We’ve got some freshly-caught Hake in ready for lunchtime today.
Make the most of this rainy Saturday with a bite to eat in front of our fire 🔥

We had lunch here yesterday. The children’s menu was set right for them. We all enjoyed our meals and the deserts are simply delicious. The drinks were great and the lovely lady that looked after us was very helpful and caring, even suggested a better position for us and our dogs. Highly recommend it. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had a fabulous meal this evening. The venue is really great and exactly what Llansteffan has needed.

We had amazing mushrooms to start followed by the sea bass and the tofu and noodles...all was absolutely top class. The pistachio and raspberry flavours with the sea bass were amazing as was the subtleties of the chilli with the tofu and noodles.

I couldn't resist the treacle tart which was very generous in size and exquisite on the palate. 2 bottles of very affable prosecco accompanied our food splendidly!

We thoroughly recommend and wish all the team in the Inn at the Sticks the very best. Serving food like this in such a classy location, our sense is that they won't need it!

We finally managed to have a meal in the restaurant at Inn at the Sticks last week and it was exceptional. The menu is wholesome, interesting and varied with great local produce. We had Griddled Fennel with capers plus Pork Rillette with pickled vegetables to start, Sea Bass with Samphire and saffron potatoes plus Welsh Lamb rolled with pork for main, Treacle tart with home made vanilla ice-cream and Panacota to finish, Superb!

We dropped in after a lovely walk with the dogs around Llansteffan. Had booked a table -such a glorious day ate outside, until I started to get sun burn. Food was delicious. Had the Filo wrap which we shared followed by the aubergine and sea bass. Highly recommended and dogs allowed in bar- which is large! Thank you/Diolch. Will return soon.

User

Visited for a Sunday Lunch in February and i was pleasantly surprised, the entire meal was a gastronomic delight. Plentiful in quantity and everything cooked to perfection.

I would highly recommend eating here if you haven't already done so....a real hidden gem of a restaurant in the heart of beautiful West Wales

User

Popped in here for a Sunday roast as I was visiting Wales for the weekend. (Little trip down memory lane. My family & I used to visit Llansteffan regularly when I was growing up)

The roast beef was lovely. Massive portions and I had the Apple tart tatin for dessert which was delicious. AmaIng value for money. Rustic, cosy pub with a warm, welcoming feeling to it. The fact that it's on the doorstep of the beach & castle is an added bonus! Loved it

User

Our meal was amazing and we received first class service.

Just one issue, we returned to the lounge/bar area after the meal for drinks.

We had to complain to the barman, who was delightful, regarding a small group of women in their 40s. They were extremely loud and the air was blue with the vile language they were using for all to hear.

There was also a gang of men, who were enjoying their evening in a proper manner..unlike the drunken trollops at the end of the bar.

We paid our bill and left our drinks and the Sticks...shame!!

Lovely welcoming staff, great beer and a delicious menu to choose from! Our waitress was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning to sample other dishes. Really hope this place flourishes, it deserves to do well. Recommended!

Great find ...just what we wanted for an overnight stay.

We arrived late afternoon and the Bar had live music which was a bonus. Brilliant atmosphere, everyone was friendly met some lovely people and enjoyed quite a pints of ale

Our room was beautiful...if you can book the Union hall room

Breakfast was one of the best

Do yourself a favour check out this great place.

Beautiful Sunday Lunch at Inn at the Sticks earlier. My first time for lunch there in a long long while and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely first rate, staff fantastic and atmosphere lovely too! I understand it is has come under a new ownership/management team recently? Well done, carry on and like-minded people will definitely be back for seconds!

User

Very friendly staff, wine & ale choice was great, interior of the inn had a lovely rustic feel but the beer garden was messy & needed a clean up of the odd bit of rubbish. It was also a very warm day for April so could’ve done with umbrellas for the tables. Food was standard pub food which was disappointing as we had a recommendation from the owners of our holiday cottage & researched online so had seen the fabulous pics of gastropub food on Facebook. Maybe this sort of menu is only served in the evening or maybe due to us being vegetarian meant we were restricted to a basic menu? Either way it wasn’t what we were expecting
