We are a Christian social enterprise that wants to make a change to the way faith communities purchase their financial services and other products

Inspired Church, a social enterprise based in South Wales, has recently launched with a desire to make a fundamental change to the way faith communities and charities purchase their insurance covers

‘Being responsible for good stewardship of the church’s finances our Trustees were keen to ensure we got a good deal when it came to buying essential, yet expensive, items such as insurance cover, energy utilities or telecoms, ’ said Marc Owen, the Minister at Moriah Baptist Church in Risca, South Wales

‘Our Treasurer has worked in the Financial Services industry for many years and made us aware that there is a collective bargaining power across faith communities and charities that is simply not being used for their own benefit. After he managed to save £100s of Member funds simply by picking up the phone and seeking an alternative quote, his idea for Inspired Church was born. ’

Inspired Church succeeds by encouraging faith groups and charities to seek an alternative quote when their renewal is due, just like anybody would seek quotes when their house or car insurance renewal comes up

Those quoting are under absolutely no obligation to purchase anything but if they do, Inspired Church will receive an introduction fee

Inspired Church has been set up on a not-for profit basis and from the fee they receive they keep their costs low and generate a surplus reinvesting 80% of it to grow the enterprise and gifting away 20% of it to Christian charitable causes
