Last night I had the pleasure of co-presenting alongside The Third Team delivering important messages around mental health, resilience and mental toughness to @NorthRidingFA’s CORE refereeing groups.
Hearing some of the stories of verbal abuse and different situations that referees deal with on a regular basis was an eye opener. It’s fair to say referees are a resilient bunch for the way the bounceback time and again. However its important to realise under the black kit there is a human being.
