Intension has grown and changed out of all recognition . Today it competes on all levels - from small scale bespoke commissions to vast international tension structure projects. Intension began life in 1972 as Cardiff Canvas & Rope , a family owned and operated business manufacturing sewn products such as tarpaulins, covers, slings and webbing straps From 2001 there was a change of direction towards todays modern architect driven tensile structures- but the same family with its established culture of service is still at the helm.
