We are doing a transmission of the Proms' concert that takes place July 18th. The interviews would be broadcasted during the intermission of the concert which we will be transmitted live for our audience in Poland thanks to our cooperation via European Broadcasting Union. I think it wo...uld be great if our listeners could get to know both Nicola and Thomas and their view of the music played at the concert through this interview.
Our institution is called Polish Radio (Polskie Radio), the oldest radio broadcasting institution in Poland (we celebrated our 90th birthday last year) and it has a couple of substations. Ours is the second one - Polish Radio 2. Musically we focus on classical music along with jazz and folk. When it comes to content our focus is on "high culture" (literature, art, music, theatre, film, history, philosophy, architecture, religion, science, etc.) but we have a couple of broadcasts that deal with pop culture as well.#
