Tonight's special Chicken chilli and salt Sichuan style served with noodles and a can of ice cold IRN BRU!

Went yesterday for a family lunch.Soup was a reheat & very thick.Prawn crackers for 7 of us was a mere small basket until asked to bring more out on a plate.Main courses were well presented & all tasty with enough for everyone.Not sure if I'd return as there is better value etc elsewhere.

Just had a carry out and it was disgusting. Couldn’t eat it. The chicken from my sweet and sour was tasteless with the batter incredibly thick and the rice was stodgy. I’ve been using this restaurant for several years but I’m really disappointed this time. Not up to the usual standard.

Food ok, but service so poor it was funny

We were served fairly quickly and the food arrived quickly and was hot. My wife's chicken and pineapple dish was bland and the limited amount of chicken was pure white and was obviously steamed. It was in both spellings of the word, Fowl. My duck soo chow style was a fairly generous portion but the duck itself was obviously an endangered species as it was overtaken in quantity by the chewy pork accompanied with more fowl and 2 or 3 prawns. The lady owner forgot to go to charm school although the rest of the ladies were at least pleasant. All in all very expensive meal put together badly using cheap ingredients. We will not be back.

Visited the restaurant last night and was very disappointed with the service we received mainly from the female owner. She was rude and abrupt. We asked on more than one occasion if there was a difference in portion size between the a la carte and pre theatre menus which she refused point blank to answer, making my guests feel very uncomfortable. We were asked to move seats as we required a high chair (which was filthy) then when we settled in our new seats the owner asked us to move again, at this point we refused as the high chair was not causing a blockage. At 38 weeks pregnant I am using crutches and had my crutches taken from me on 3 occasions and placed at the front door. I can only imagine this was again due to safety and the need for clear fire escapes, however this was not discussed with me they were simply removed. I would however like to know how I would get out of the building in an emergency with my walking aids sitting neatly at the front door!?!

Very good for fast food tho im very disapointed with the service on xmas day im a very unhappy customer which uses this place often the communication/service is ridicoulus for xmas!!!

Terrible experience at this restaurant last night,

The female owner is the most abrupt, rude and intimidating person I have ever met in the role of ambassador for their business.

Tried to move us from our seats under the guise of our baby's highchair causing an obstruction (it wasn't)

Refused on four occasions to answer the fair and straight forward question of "is there a portion size difference between A la carter and pre theatre?"

"I can't say that" was the reply! What!

p.s. there is, we found out for ourselves when two of our party went A la carte... two ribs extra per portion.

My 38 week pregnant partner continual had her crutches removed from her side (again causing an obstruction) they were not!

Furthermore they were put at the front door meaning had there been any kind of emergency, she wasn't in any position to get out on her own accord ( that blows the clear passage/health and safety issue clean out the water.

Oh, did I mention that the baby seat we were provided was at best filthy, at worst a health risk for our wee one.

Been using this place at family events and social occasions for 30 years,

Not sure if I can express how disgusted we are at tonight's service! We ordered a carry out delivery of 1 prawn toast, 1 dry chicken chow mien, 1 sweet and sour chicken and 2 chicken satay with rice. When it arrived we had the prawn toast only for our son to discover he had pork instead of chicken we called to advise and were asked if we wanted one sent out and it might take a while, yes our son needed to eat! Then as we were waiting for it we opened the satay to discover one was chicken wings! So on the phone again and told one would be sent out and guess what we are still waiting for it! What disgusting service and at the grand cost of £31!! We will NEVER order from you again. An absolute disgrace.

Received far better, cheaper service in other local establishments recently, therefore won't be returning.

Having just left the Jasmin one can I just say it was the worst Chinese I've ever eaten! 4 spare ribs for a starter! The chicken curry was terrible, couldn't eat it! And the beef and onion was flavourless gloop? Service was poor and we weren't asked once if everything was ok. £37.70 for one starter, 2 mains, 1 with rice, 1 with chips and 2 cokes! That's £37.70 I'll never see again! Disappointed

Food was disgusting owner was very intimidating and unhelpful we complained about fatty and inedible chicken and still had to pay £40 on food we did not eat and half of what we asked for did not arrive but had complained so much already ...

DISGUSTING!! After waiting over 2 hours for our delivery, opened the food to find 2 black hairs!! Phoned the Jasmine One to be told not phone again no apology nothing! So disgusting!!!
