Quaint, friendly. Nice options of drinks and food. 4 stars due to nature of the space. No room for wheelchair users or prams. Be careful if tall as low head room . On 3 different levels internally be careful is poor sighted or wearing varifocals.

Quiet place selling coffee and cakes as well as a moderate menu. Great for older people and children.

Quaint ye olde Welch tea room opposite cathedral. Collection of small private rooms. At 11am Monday morning not busy with great tea and cakes.

Staff lovely. Cake great. Wraps and hot chocolate average. Cost reasonable given location. Not pushchair friendly at all.

Fantastic afternoon tea - will be going back!

We had a baby shower afternoon tea for 18 people on a Saturday afternoon at Jaspers. The food was delicious - 5 types of sandwiches and generous amounts of sweet treats with the chocolate eclairs and victoria spoke cakes as stand outs. We asked for gluten free and vegan options, as well as a couple of alternative hot drinks which weren't an issue and I'm assured were just as tasty. What made our day were the staff who were absolutely faultless - friendly, thoughtful and couldn't do enough for us. As the setting is quaint, 18 in one room was cosy but the staff kindly walked their orders for other guests out of the doors and back in the other side in horrible weather to avoid walking through our party which was additionally thoughtful. Would highly recommend.

You can find me here every Sunday morning at about 10:00 with my friend for a good tea chat and lovely gluten free brownies. Intimate and lovely atmosphere. The staff very nice and professional. Congratulations for the cooker!
