Terms and Conditons.
At JD Cars we charge £5.00 around Rhoose from 07.00 to 23.00 Mon-Sat. It applies from Porthkerry Rd Rhoose point r/bt to Fontagary Inn to Fonmon Park Rd, and for one stop only. All other areas are on metered rates set by Vale of Glamorgan County Council. We accept credit cards, with a minimum of £10 spend.... We will not accept credit without prior agreement under any circumstances. If you cannot pay we will inform South Wales Police without hesitation. Spillage of food or drink in any vehicle is charged at £60 valet fee and again refusal to do so, will mean we involve South Wales Police.
Periodically we are duty bound to post these terms and conditions in the public domain for legal reasons.

Here at JD Cars we are always looking for ways to improve our service. For example we can have milk and bread in the vehicle when we pick you up from the terminal to home after a well earned break. If you have any idea's that might be of help to others please let us know. If you like our service tell your friends, if not tell us why, so we can rectify it. As the holiday season gears up once again, we can be there for that early morning flight. We run a 24 hour service for advanced bookings only, for the airport or coach pick up point. Our prices don't change for unsociable hours. Ring us and take the stress out of getting there, so you can just relax and enjoy the start of your well earned break. When you return just ring us when you are at the terminal, and we will take you home again. We can even have the milk and bread in the vehicle ready for that nice cup of something hot and perhaps some toast when you get there...just tell us what you need, and we can add it to the fare. JD Cars, doing things just that little bit differently to make life easier.

Happy Easter to all our customers old and new. Please be aware Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Monday, we will be as usual on metered rates, set by Vale of Glamorgan County Council only. Our set fares for certain journeys will not apply.

As a family business from time to time we have occasion to be needed with our family for one reason or another. Sadly today is one of those days. So although we will be running it will be on limited availability until this evening. We appologise for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.

We are currently looking for a part time driver in the St Athan/Llantwit Major area. This is due to an ever increasing amount of new customers using our service. We operate a 364 day service from 6am to midnight on week days and till late on weekends. We also offer an early morning service for advanced bookings for airports etc. We operate on the meter set by the Vale of Glamorgan tarrifs. Male and female drivers. Local or long distance, we have no preference, we simply try ...to offer a reliable, friendly service.

At JD Cars we do some things a little differently. If for example your holiday flight home be on the late side for arguements sake and all the shops are shut, we can get the vital supplies you need, such as fresh milk, and bread for a cuppa and perhaps some toast when you get home. Just ask. We will have it in the car waiting for you when we collect you, and simply add it to the bill.

We are running normally today. The snow hasn't caused the disruption it did last year...not so far anyway😉

Please be aware as we did last year, we will do our level best to get around in the snow. But it goes without saying the safety of our staff has to come first.

It's the Weekend before Xmas. We are extremely busy. Therefore please be aware we can only wait a maximum of 5 minutes after any given pick up time. This is to avoid...or try to at least, running late on the next one. After that time the driver will pull away and go onto their next job. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. ... If you still want a taxi, then unfortunately you will have to wait until the next car is available. We will probably end up running late as is the nature of these things, so please be patient. We will get to you.
