Nice bit of weather allowed us to get out today, 1st trip in 8 days, plenty mackerel, rays, huss, a few dabs whiting and gurnard and as i've now been kindly informed, one bonus little scaldfish, had a couple of hours on the tope, sadly losing more at the side of the boat than what we landed, best one just touched 40 lb Intrested in getting out, give Julie a call 01745 332766

Lovely settled weather has seen the fishing pick up, plenty of dabs, whiting, smooth hounds, dogs and bass inshore, further offshore, a good few rays and huss with a few mackerel and herring, shouldn't be long before we're into the tope To book call Julie 01745 332766

Not posted any fishing reports on here for a while so here's an update on what's been happening, since arriving back to Rhyl from Liverpool it's been wall to wall whiting ( hence no reports ) mid March saw a good splattering of mackerel and herrings and still tons of whiting, moving into April was pretty much the same but with a few rays showing, May, the mackerel and herring have become very patchy but in good numbers when we've finally found them, dabs whiting, dogs, huss, rays, gurnards, bass, smooth hound, flounders have started to show in numbers and the fishing is improving every week. Thawing sleet and snow made the fishing difficult on the river this week but never the less still a few good fish turned up with quite a few fish reaching 7 , 8 or 9 lb plus , some days numbers of cod going into double figures, most days though half a dozen or less with plenty of dabs and whiting to make up good bags, we have no availability now until after January the 8th, anyone looking for a day afloat please give Julie a call 01745 332766

Just had a group drop out for Saturday 16th december ( Xmas party night before) 4 places available sail 11.30 am liverpool marina and I've just had a whole boat cancelled for Monday 11th December sail at 6.30 am Call Julie 01745 332766 One or two of these knocking about along with whiting and dabs

Another week over with on the Mersey, thankfully the dreaded lsd's have gone, rays have thinned out, plenty of whiting, more dabs starting to show, cod still not in huge no.s but none the less good fish, best this week, 26 cod aboard Suveran on Wednesday and 19 cod cod for Jensen on Tuesday, had a few places come available for this month .. Thursday 14th December 4 places sail 09.45 am and Friday 15th .. whole boat available .. sail 10.30 am, unless anyone drops out these are the only dates we have available until January. Well that's our 1st week over with on the Mersey, plenty of good sized whiting, loads of rays, average 30 to 40 per trip ( sorry no pics of these, couldn't be bothered taking any ) and a few good cod, best one going to 10.7 lbs, still a couple of dates left this year for people want a trip out and quite a few available for Jan and Feb, give Julie a call 01745 332766

Managed to get a few wrecking trips in before the weather changed, plenty of pollock, a few ling, the odd tope and conger, best fish were ling 17.2 lbs .. pollock 11.13 lbs .. cod 15.8 lbs and tope 39.8 lbs Anyone wishing to get out we only have the 12th . 13th and 16th available for wrecking before we head to liverpool for the winter cod season Call Julie 01745 332766
