Jessie'S Cottage Cakes Description
Home for Jessie’s Cottage Cakes is in an area of natural beauty, the Gower Peninsula, with the beautiful coastline just a stone’s throw away from the Cottage.
Jessie moved down to Rhossili in June 2013, to live with her now husband Tom (married in Oct ’15), who farms Great Pitton Farm, with his Grandad Christopher Beynon. Jess is a farmer’s daughter from Shropshire, and has been brought up on homemade traditional food, with her Mum’s (Sally) Sunday roast being a favourite; this was reflected when all her friends used to arrive conveniently every Sunday at 12. 30pm. Living on a farm all her life, and now with her farming husband, food is very important for the energy levels and especially a sweet treat and this is where Jess first discovered her love for baking and Tom is not complaining!
When Jessie first moved to the area, she worked part-time for various catering establishments, baking cakes early in the morning. After circa 8 months, she took on a full time job as Reception Manager at The Oxwich Bay Hotel, which quenched her thirst for organisation and management, however, after 18 months, her love of baking and having her own business drove her to leave this position and go back to her passion. Jessie bakes from home, in her cottage kitchen, with the help of her loyal Rayburn.

We had a surprise package and they were blooming scrumptious! Gluten free and you couldn't even taste it, which in my mind is amazing as it's difficult to disguise the gluten free element and still make them taste so damn good! Can't get enough of these baked goodies. Thanks Jess xxx
We bought a selection of cakes in the Gower Show and they were absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend trying them. We shall definitely be back for some more. 😊
The brownies and blondies are delicious- a fab birthday surprise from the hubby.
The Blondies were absolutely amazing-so delicious. I think they made everyone in the office very happy when they came in the post yesterday! Thank you :-) very highly recommended!
