John Nicholas is an established, confident and captivating performer, who currently performs regularly across the South Wales scene and further afield too. John has had many performing opportunities and experiences, playing many times in London and across various other cities in the UK (Bristol, Aberdeen, Inverness, Birmingham), and abroad (Dallas, TX, Buenos Aires & Patagonia, ARG).

John regularly performs with a loop pedal, providing harmonies and melodies overlapped to create a fuller sound to his set when he needs

In January of 2016, John came second out of 20, 000 people in Open Mic UK also picking up the award for 'Best Original Song' for his song 'Better Things.

His song 'Pethau Gwell' ('Better Things') is curently on the C2 playlist on BBC Radio Cymru.
