My students know how much I hate the word diaphragm! YOU CANNOT CONTROL YOUR DIAPHRAGM! And if any vocal teacher has told you other wise, unfortunately they do not understand how the voice and the supporting muscles correctly work. xx

The very talented Emma Evans got accepted into the Royal Northern College of Music! Well done lovely! You have worked so hard and should be so super proud of what you have achieved!!!

I came to Josephine to improve my vocal range and quality for acting and was rather nervous of singing as it wasn’t something I was confident with, after about a month if sessions I was brave enough to attend a musical theatre audition with singing in it and I got the job!

I’ve been having lessons with Josie once a week for about 7 months now and It’s amazing how much my voice has improved.



She is so kind and so passionate about what she does it’s incredible and she has a way of putting me at ease during my session which really helps.

I've had a few singing teachers over the years and no one has made me feel so relaxed and comfortable as Josephine has. I'd not had progress with my voice until being taught by her - she is 100% the reason my voice/knowledge of singing has improved so much. I highly highly recommend this lovely lady!

I would highly recommend Josephine, she has been a brilliant singing teacher and has really helped improve my confidence and technique. She is always a really lovely woman and I enjoyed each class with her!

She made me feel so much more secure and confident with my voice and I was able to see some great progress in my control within only a couple of lessons. I was even able to secure a Cruise contract and I wouldn't have been able to do it without the techniques that Josephine had helped me with. Definitely would recommend for professionals or people who would like more of an understanding of their voice.

Had a few lessons with this wonderful human now and I have to say she is fab! We have a great chemistry and she knows how to work out the kinks! Recommend 100%.

Can't recommend Josie enough! She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable which was a big issue for me as I struggle with confidence with singing.
