Well Iโm not. And you know what Iโm cool with it. What Iโm NOT cool with is losing muscle mass to excess cardio ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
... I tested my BF in Bangor Aurora today on their Bodytrax machine and it was uber informative. ๐ง The major takeaway being that Iโm happy with my body as it is, but Iโm not that 10-15% BodyFat people crave๐ฉ Itโs interesting as we do care about a number and that includes our weight. Surely we should only really care about what we visually look like in the mirror NOT the amount of force we exert on planet earth ๐
Stop getting hung up on stats and start getting hung up on YOU ๐ค Letโs shape watch instead of weight watch, letโs worry about our happiness % as opposed to our body fat %
Letโs make ourselves GREAT again! (Sorry got a bit carried away there(inspo Donald Trumper))

COACH: Run 1 mile, as slow as you like everyday for a month, you will shift the guts of a stone.
CLIENT 1: Ehh ok (does it for a week and quits)
CLIENT 2: Iโm game (does it)
... *End of month*
COACH: Well how did you get on?
CLIENT 1: Nah didnโt work
CLIENT 2: YUP, Iโve lost a stone ๐ค
I literally tried and tested this myself. I weighed nearly 14st at the end of December and weighing now 12st 13.
What did I do? I ran a mile a day as slow as I liked for a month. (Plus some other training but in principle just cardio)
Did I run in the rain, yup โ
Did I have a carry out every weekend, โ
Did I have excuses as to why I wouldnโt run on a Sunday for 10 minutes, โ Did I enjoy it, โ
Sometimes if you just listen to your coach you will get the results you so crave ๐ช๐ผ๐ your biggest obstacle is your comfort zone and taking 10-15mins out of a day to exercise isnโt really a big ask ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
PS. Remember that accountability calendar stuck up on your fridge (see previous video). My clients who are using it are killinโ it with gainz at the minute #justsaying
