Well Iโ€™m not. And you know what Iโ€™m cool with it. What Iโ€™m NOT cool with is losing muscle mass to excess cardio ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
... I tested my BF in Bangor Aurora today on their Bodytrax machine and it was uber informative. ๐Ÿง The major takeaway being that Iโ€™m happy with my body as it is, but Iโ€™m not that 10-15% BodyFat people crave๐Ÿ˜ฉ Itโ€™s interesting as we do care about a number and that includes our weight. Surely we should only really care about what we visually look like in the mirror NOT the amount of force we exert on planet earth ๐ŸŒ
Stop getting hung up on stats and start getting hung up on YOU ๐Ÿค“ Letโ€™s shape watch instead of weight watch, letโ€™s worry about our happiness % as opposed to our body fat %
Letโ€™s make ourselves GREAT again! (Sorry got a bit carried away there(inspo Donald Trumper))

COACH: Run 1 mile, as slow as you like everyday for a month, you will shift the guts of a stone.
CLIENT 1: Ehh ok (does it for a week and quits)
CLIENT 2: Iโ€™m game (does it)
... *End of month*
COACH: Well how did you get on?
CLIENT 1: Nah didnโ€™t work
CLIENT 2: YUP, Iโ€™ve lost a stone ๐Ÿค—
I literally tried and tested this myself. I weighed nearly 14st at the end of December and weighing now 12st 13.
What did I do? I ran a mile a day as slow as I liked for a month. (Plus some other training but in principle just cardio)
Did I run in the rain, yup โœ… Did I have a carry out every weekend, โœ… Did I have excuses as to why I wouldnโ€™t run on a Sunday for 10 minutes, โŒ Did I enjoy it, โœ…
Sometimes if you just listen to your coach you will get the results you so crave ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Š your biggest obstacle is your comfort zone and taking 10-15mins out of a day to exercise isnโ€™t really a big ask ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
