It’s happening! Spring has sprung and hopefully you’re finding ways to enjoy these sunnier days. Here are a couple of ways you can take your practice outside and off the mat.
Go for a stroll.
Going for a walk is a simple way to add more mindfulness to your day, while enjoying some time outside. Turn your stroll into a walking meditation by bringing your full attention to walking, without trying to get anywhere.
... Savor the fresh air.
The next time you’re outside, try to take deep, conscious breaths focussing on elongating your exhale. Doing so triggers your body’s relaxation response and puts both your body and mind at ease. You can try this any time you’re outside, whether you’re in your own back yard or garden, a public park, or on your way into work.
Photos from our walk this morning and practising what I preach😂😂. Can you see what looks like a butterfly in the trees? It’s just twigs!! Nature at its best😊
Have a great day 💟

Have you been able to be outside connect with nature today?
I was lucky enough to be able to join my Nordic walking group in Nercwys forest and had a great time.
Dali and went for a local walk later on through the woods and across the river just a stones throw from our house, one of my favourite places.
... Where is your favourite place to walk?

What an amazing day we had yesterday leading our first ever Walking and Outdoor Yoga event in Minera Quarry Nature Reserve.
We were so grateful that 22 people joined us to share this experience, some travelling from Abergele, Conwy and Rhyl!! Such a wonderful mix of people including two young mothers complete with babies in wraps 👶🏼
We so looking forward to our next walking with yoga in the Summer, 29th June. Hope to see you there! 🙏

Hello
Not long now until our first ever walking and outdoor yoga event in collaboration with the NW Wildlife Trust. Just a few things for you to consider...
1. It may be muddy so wellies or stout walking shoes/boots should be worn if possible. ... 2. There are stiles on the walk to climb over...only one or two! 3. The walk is not entirely on the flat and there are some short uphill parts but they are not very long or steep 4. Please remember to bring something to sit on in case the ground is damp/wet. 5. It is not suitable for children in buggies 6. The walk and yoga is suitable for all abilities 7. NO YOGA MATS REQUIRED
Just one last thing...
If you are definitely attending, please press the GOING button so that we have an idea of the number of people who will be turning up. Thank you 🙏
See you there! 😊
