We are very excited and pleased to announce that VERY soon we will be offering gorgeous, tasty cakes hand baked and decorated by "Just Eat Cake" in Joy's. Ideal to take away or to sit and have with a coffee or tea. All proceeds as ever from these sales will be split between Alzheimer's society and Dementia UK. Keep a look out - we are just waiting on the fridge to be delivered. We will also be able to take orders for you to have delivered to the shop. And they don't just do Cup Cakes - Chelsea buns, Chocolate Brownies, Vanilla Slices, Bakewell Tarts to name a few.

Well it's that time of year that makes us think of what to get for people as Christmas presents - please call into Joy's and look at the vast array of gifts and cards - support local crafts men and women and choose unique gifts for your family and friends. Oh and just to mention a MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY who have popped in for tea or coffee and donated to Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK - YOU HAVE HELPED TO RAISE OVER £1000.00 THIS YEAR.

We now have in stock beautiful calendars for 2018 with pictures of Chepstow, Monmouthshire and The Forest of Dean. £8.00 each. We also have blank cards with local scenes £1.50 each. Photography by Peter G Hill who will be donating % of proceeds to Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK. Don't forget our traditional sweets and we have lots of offers too!

Joy's is now able to take card payments. Free for purchases over £10 - there is a 30p admin fee charge for purchases under £10.00. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support.

BEAUTIFUL newborn nappy cakes - each package contains: approx 15 Nappies, a Care Bear Soft Teddy, an I love Mummy or I love Daddy Bib, a Blanket, a Bottle, a Dummy, 5 items of Johnson's toiletries and Wet Wipes. Excellent value for £20.00 and wonderful gift for the expectant mother - don't forget all profits go to Alzheimer's Society and Dementia UK. To date we have raised over £450.00 from your kind donations.

A long overdue introduction to Toni Murphy our diamond at Joy's who runs the shop and manages the activity sessions daily. Toni has a passion for bringing the community together and raising funds for Dementia related charities. In the last 8 weeks from your donations for teas and coffees we have raised £235.00. Let's keep this going.................call in for a cuppa and a chat anytime and support local business and local crafts people who donate a % of commission to either Alzheimer's Society or Dementia UK.

WELL WE HAD A BUSY DAY restocking the shop with cards and gifts....lots of people popping in to say they are glad we are back open in the week. From 2nd week in May we will be open 6 days a week!!

Joy's will be restarting afternoon activity sessions next week commencing 17th April 2017 at 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm

Joy's is reopening this week - we will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We are doing teas and coffees for donations and would love to see you - not only a gift and card shop but somewhere to come and chat for a while.
