What a beautiful meal, best steak I’ve ever had. I chose the bullet steak after guidance from the knowledgable waiter and I’m so glad I did. It was juicy and so tasty! The chips were gorgeous and the pepper sauce was just right. The dessert I chose was the Oreo donuts and I loved it all, gutted when I couldn’t quite finish them. Wouldn’t hesitate to come here again. Great food and great service.

Went with the kids and friends on Saturday, food was absolutely amazing, especially the bin lid of food. Service was good, can't wait to go back!!

Went here on Wednesday 14th of March as a friend booked the table what an amazing place, as soon as you walk in you are made to feel welcome great customer service from the staff and all friendly, then the food me being a Fan of miller and Carter has got to say this place beats it hands down and will be back there again very soon so if you not been well Worth a cheeky little visit five star all day long

This Is a great local business with a modern contemporary feel about it’s style and approach to eating out. The staff are relatively young and enthusiastic and always around to offer help if needed.

I can’t fault the menu at all but to be honest that’s completely down to the individuals taste. I think the chef gets the cooking process just right for my taste and that opinion seems to be shared by my family.

I’d highly recommend it and they must be doing something right because the weekends are crammed so book early

Only one problem....we were not told that it was cash only so had to go to cash machine after meal. First one was not working so had to go further into town. Would of been better to of been told when booked or when arrived at restaurant.

Nothing was too much trouble at this wonderful establishment! I took my son for his 16th Birthday, everything was fabulous! The staff were lovely and attentive. They went above and beyond for my mum who can't eat much at the moment. The gluten free options were fantastic too. All in all, a huge thank you!! Hopefully see you soon.

Just had a lovely meal here, thoroughly enjoyed it. One of our favourite restaurants is Hickorys in Chester (and other areas). This restaurant beat Hicks hands down. Everything was so tasty and the craft beers were great too. Emma, our waitress, was very attentive, knowledgable and very friendly. They have got the best chips here too!! Really recommend coming here. Only up here for the week on holiday, so pleased we found this gem.

Gorgeous meal, great portions plus top up on chips, heard of drink top ups but not chips which were lovely. Menu had so much choice, reasonably priced and great service but why, why why do you not take card payments. It’s the 21st c Just Steak get with it.

Gorgeous food, we were dining for our sons 19th birthday in the private dining room. the young lady who looked after us was fantastic, and the food was as usual amazing. Portions are very generous, was too full to indulge in the desserts. Must come along at lunch sometime and try out the burgers.

Daughter's bestie over from China so took us all out for an early evening treat. Steak as good as ever and the children emptied their plates, always a good sign. Not going to tell you which steak I had in case you all order them before me �

Staff are fantastic, the owner is lovely and really makes you feel welcomed every single time, prices are fantastic and the chips are to die for! 1st time eating here tonight and i wasn't disappointed! The meal was flawless start to finish, as was the service. The steak was incredible, so full of flavour! I will definitely be coming again. Thanks �

Went last night, food was excellent. I had a ‘burnt ends’ starter followed by a bullet steak. Cooked perfectly as ordered (medium rare). Sauces are spot on and ‘endless’ chips are really nice, although my son ordered some more and they didn’t arrive ‘til after he’d finished his steak.

Attracting the staff’s attention can be difficult. They seem to be too busy to look your way and zip in and out of view, seemingly avoiding eye contact. Our main course was finished and eventually a waitress came and asked if we’d like to see the sweet menu, we said yes, but it never came... we were ready for another drink too... lost sales there!!

We waited a good 15 minutes more and eventually I had to get up to ask for a bill. That came pretty quickly funnily enough!

Nice small selection of canned craft beers, unfortunately the first two choices I made had run out!

We had a nice evening overall and the food was great, service too if you can attract someone’s attention.

Loved the main course but the starter (duck) was very poor, really struggled to get it off the bone and it wasn’t crispy. Staff are very friendly overall a pleasant evening

Based on the food alone it was amazing, best steak and burgers AND the chips for miles around! The staff are really knowledgeable and know what cuts are what, unfortunately they only seem happy to see you come and to see you leave, I have been twice recently both times we never got checked to see if everything was ok or if we needed more drinks (sales opportunity being missed) which is a big shame! I don't like being asked every 5 minutes but I do expect to be asked at least once considering they passed our table countless times as they headed to the kitchen... you may be busy but you should never be too busy to make sure your customers are happy... especially if you rely on tips... it won't stop me returning as the food is so tasty but please run a refresher course for your front of house staff just to make sure everyone is happy � #AmazingChefs
