Ka Fit Description
KA Fit runs unique retreat style, ladies only, residential weekend fit camps, based in a comfortable home, 2 minutes walk from the sea, teaching exercise and nutritional tips to easily incorporate into individual lifestyles.
Ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome. Being small groups (maximum 6), the ladies can train at their own pace, in a fun, sociable, stress free environment, with a very motivating, experienced, female instructor.
The camp incorporates outdoor /indoor, theory and practical workshops covering all aspects of a lady’s wellbeing in a fun, educational and informative way, giving fit tools for life.
Nutrition, the heart, muscle strength, core, flexibility, co-ordination, balance, face, pelvic floor and de-stressing, arel all be included. There is plenty of opportunity to ask any questions and an info packs to take home.
KA Fit also runs local fitness classes at the Barry Island Community Centre. .

One of my lovely keep fit ladies Carole May sailed round the world for 5 years and has written a book called "the cruising life"; was proud to help with her book launch. Here she is signing a book for a fan. Very readable for sailors and non sailors alike.

Another great classes ladies overlooking the sea from Barry Yacht Club. A couple of my ladies after the class. Come and join us 6.15 pm every Thursday or for an outdoor ladies workout every Monday 6.15 pm meet Barry Yacht Club car park. You don't have to be a member. The gates will be open.
So proud to have done choreography for this worthwhile event and my keep fit ladies BYC rowing colleagues were brilliant as models!
Fresh air and the sea! Perfect for exercise!
The summer is well and truly here! So the outdcoor classes start next week! Monday 12 June at 6.15 pm in Barry Yacht Club car park. We can then go back to the Yacht Club for refreshments! Come and exercise in the fresh air by the sea!
This was such good fun and so worthwhile. My keep fit ladies and colleague rowers were fantastic!
A big thank you to my keep fit ladies (and Barry Yacht Club rowing colleagues) for agreeing to model for this event. A total of £600 was raised, half going to Marie Curie and half to the RNLI and some of the guys joined in on our finale nautical workout in full lifeguard gear! We got a big article in the Barry Gem as well! Was honoured to do the choreography for this worthwhile event.
Great class tonight! So lucky to have this lovely new venue at Barry Yacht Club overlooking the sea. Newcomers tonight, you were brilliant and as always we had a total body workout including a lot of laughter!
