I'm just loving painting these pieces, they're so relaxing but they also challenge me as I draw the smaller details free hand with no pencil outlines - which for me is a huge deal! 😨

Sooooo I tested out my new found style on a greeting card yesterday and it's safe to say that I'm a little bit in love with the outcome, I hope you all like it it too.....if not, this may get just a tad bit awkward 😬😂🙈😳

Well I did some more exploring last night and I'm pretty hooked..there will definitely be more of this style to come 😊 Happy Thursday Friends 🌸

Yesterday was hard. And intense. And long. It was one of those days where I could have just driven far, far away and stayed away for a little while (or a longer while). I struggled to see the positives and every time I had a glimmer of seeing them, they disappeared into a fog of tantrums, headaches, a sore neck and mess. Lots of it.
As evening came I laid down, the window was open and I felt the cool breeze blow on my face. Then I gained some perspective. I heard Alyssa and m...y husband chatting away as he was getting her ready for bed and I was reminded of the blessings that I have. Sometimes it's hard to see the good stuff when you're in the thick of things, but they are always there and always ready to be found again 😊
