This place is amazing if your looking for some peace and quiet. The cabin was perfect and spotless. Unlike caravan owners they supplied tea towels, washing up cloths and plenty of toilet paper and a throw. The Tv was enormous and all channels available that you could need. The hot tub was fantastic and nice and closed in. On arrival a staff member came to check it was running fine. There is no shops or pubs within walking distance but a nice big fridge freezer so you can stock up. We had 2 double bedrooms and 2 gorgeous bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and clean, there was also ample storage. They had wonderful heaters so the place was nice and toasty. I highly recommend kaowood and will be coming back. 5/5

Such a beautiful place. Me and my husband came last week after another holiday fell through. Im so glad we came because it is definitely a place we will come back to. Lovely clean and warm cabin with a chilled bottle of fizz waiting. Hot tub was incredible as well as the sauna. Gorgeous surroundings and lots to see in the local area. Thank you for an amazing stay. Just got home from a stunning weekend here.

It was spotless and so peaceful.

We had a hot tub and a sauna which was amazing !!!

Can’t recommend this place enough.

Can’t wait to return.

Stayed in Goldcrest 1 over the Easter weekend. The staff were so friendly & approachable. Absolutely loved it, the lodge was spotless, the heating was on when we arrived so nice & cosy, the woodland walks around the park were well signposted & easy to navigate & the hot tub ........ what can I say, fantastic. We will definitely be back. Thank you

User

Myself and my partner came down to Kaowood Park for our Birthday weekend together and stayed in Primrose 20, the place was very clean and the tub was perfect! We had trouble switching it on the second day but the staff were great help and came straight to our aid! The double bed is very comfy and all the commodity’s were as needed!

We will definitely be coming back for more than 2 days in the summer! & highly recommend!!

•••One bit of feedback would be maybe to put paving slabs from the front door to the hot tub maybe, as walking if shingling was a tad painful.

User

My partner and I stayed in Wren 23 and what a lovely little lodge it was! The lodge was clean, tidy and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay! The hot tub was perfect! Would definately recommend driving to Pendine Sands and taking a walk up the cliff... the views are beautiful when at the top!

The only down side to this stay was the mattress and the bed. The mattress was very springy and you could feel the springs in you when led down. The bed seems to need a bit of tightening here and there! Also there was no dish cloth to wash anything with.

Apart from this we cannot wait to come back!!

My Husband and I stayed here between 19-21 February in Primrose 18 with our dog. We absolutely loved it! The lodge itself was clean and spacious and we were surprised at how warm it was inside even without the heating on. The lodge had everything we needed and the customer guide was very helpful. We loved spending time in the hot tub, however we didn't understand why we couldn't use the patio doors to get in and out of the tub - it got very cold walking in and out from the front door (remember flip flops as there is gravel outside the front door).

We arrived on the first day at 2pm (paid for early arrival), however there was no one at reception so there were notices up on the window for each lodge telling us where to go and how to access it etc. On our way back to the car, one of the owners appeared and said her Husband would be along within the hour to greet us and give us instructions on how to use the hot tub. So when we go to the lodge, we waited in for 2 hours thinking the owner would show up. We ended up going out to walk the dog as there was no sign of him. I have read from previous reviews how lovely it was for the owners to show them around the lodge and hot tub - so our expectations were not met on this occasion.

The fridge smelt very strongly of seafood so I'm not sure if this had been cleaned thoroughly before we stayed. The pans provided for cooking looked quite old and we had trouble with food sticking to the pans, even with plenty of oil (which wasn't provided). On the website it says dishwasher tablets are provided, but the lodge didn't have a dishwasher so the information may need to be updated.

The upstairs bedroom could have done with a dressing table/mirror. The only mirrors provided were in the downstairs bathroom (the light was very poor in there) and in the downstairs double bedroom. There was no mirror provided in the downstairs twin room either. Luckily it was just the 2 of us staying, but if there were 6 of us - I can imagine getting ready would be difficult!

It was also difficult to regulate the temperature in the shower - took us a while to figure it out but managed to keep it hot - some instructions would be helpful as it seemed the hot and cold were the wrong way around...

Some lovely woodland walks around but very muddy so advisable to bring walking boots/wellies if walking dogs. There is an outside shower at the front of the lodge but the shower head is quite high so it wasn't suitable to clean the dogs paws, would be easier if it had a lower shower head or a detachable one with a lead.

Some helpful bits that would be a great addition:

- Coat hooks

- Hooks near the hot tub to hang towels

- An outside table to eat during the summer (we had garden chairs provided but no table)

- Shoe racks for muddy boots

Some lovely walks around the area for dogs, and only 30 min drive from Tenby where we found a few dog friendly pubs/cafes.

We will definitely be coming back and really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet idyllic get away , kids loved the hot tub and plenty of room for everyone would have been perfect if weather had been warmer, but we still managed to fit it all in , so much to do all around we all had a fab time , thanks x

User

Just returned from a lovely few days away, and i could not recommend the lodge enough. The lodge was clean and had everything you would need for your stay. The lodge is in a lovely peaceful setting, all you can hear are the birds, when your relaxing in the hot tub It's a couple of minutes drive to the local village, I recommend the Elaichi Indian Restaurant for a meal & Georges Fish Shop does amazing fish & chips it's a short drive to Amroth, Pendine, Tenby. Overall a perfect place to stay for a peaceful break - Would definitely return Thank You Kaowood Lodges

Just got home from a fantastic few days. What a lovely place it is, just like the picture's show. Very clean and everything you need to get away and relax. The hot tub was fantastic, only problem was we didn't want to get out of it. Can't wait to go again. Loved every minute. Five stars given. Thanks.

Just got back from the most relaxing weekend I think we have ever had !! We stayed in wren 23 with our little dog , had everything we needed I was greeted with a box of chocolates,a bottle of prosecco and a lovely heart on the bed so quiet all you can hear are the birds and the hot tubs bubbling away took a short drive to pendine sands , saundersfoot and tenby with everywhere being very dog friendly too we will most definitely be visiting again.

User

Just come back from a great few days in the prancing hear lodge for a surprise birthday for my wife. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Heating was on when we arrived very welcoming with the weather conditions.

The lodge is plenty big enough for 8 adults to stay in. Loved the hot tub even if the snow. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Thanks

User

Just came back from a weekend here and we had a lovely time!

The lodge was really well kept, clean and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings with a Chinese takeaway in the warm

We ventured into Tenby on one of our days and was close enough to local attractions like folly farm and Oakwood.

After seeing this on Facebook I thought there may be a catch! However, no catch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

User

Just arrived home from 2 nights at Kaowood with two dogs and I would recommend it! A lovely spacious lodge with everything we needed, the hot tub was fab. Great location, well connected to everywhere we wanted to visit.

The only suggestion I’d have is maybe a gate across the decking so the doors could be left open.

Really pleased

It's our last night and we will be sad to leave. Management gave us such a lovely warm welcome. The lodge was beautiful, clean and cosy. The hot tub was private and fantastic. Beautiful place, the lodge is exactly like the pictures, often not the case with holiday venues. The hot tub is lovely and the site is clean, tidy and dog friendly. Love it here. Throughly recommended for a relaxing break.

Absolutely loved our weekend away. Cracking log cabin with hot tub. Everything you need and more. Beautiful surroundings. Family loved it. Oh and the dog he had the time of his life. Thankyou sooooooo much will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend to all

My partner and I stayed in Wren 23 and what a lovely little lodge it was! The lodge was clean, tidy and had everything you needed to enjoy your stay! The hot tub was perfect! The only down side to this stay was the bed was uncomfortable, and the base if the shower felt as if you was on a trampoline. Think the bathroom needs an upgrade, also being dog friendly think there needs to be gates at the end of the decking.
