Dance and movement as a therapeutic tool that has the power to transform and heal life, to inspire beauty and creativity, health and happiness through movements full of meaning. Getting emotional gives us access to life and this in turn makes us available to new understanding.

My experience in therapeutic movement and dance began over twenty years ago. I have taught extensively children with disabilities, autism and learning difficulties and as a Montessori Teacher in those days my groups were based around movement and dance as oppose to physical education. I was moved by how the children came alive and expressed who they were when they danced, I could see them so clearly and the same happens with adults…. when we dance, when we move with meaning we can be ourselves and become who we are through the others.

Within my clinical experience and specialisations, I hold qualifications in creative dance, the four elements, shamanism, affective touch education, Laban movement analysis and dance for the disabled.
